No Stewtardfan, JS7 will not win tonight! I think that him a poto will battle pretty good, but I think RV1 will pull it out in the end!

No neck brace for RV ?

as the season wears on we will see the number 5 start getting the starts and fighting for the win.... I dont think The Dunge is going to let this title slip by like he did last year.

RV is so smooth compared to MA800, especially on the step on-step off sections. I wonder how these riders got picked to ride for media day...? Seems like an unfair advantage maybe? Just my $0.02, what do I know I'm just a washed up A rider who never made it...

My predictions: 1,5,7,21,22!

Yeah what's going on with RV and others not wearing a neck brace after years of wearing one?

I already see that in my area (Northeast), the scumbags at CBS have again decided to simply not show the race. Even though CBS doesn't have the SuperBowl, they simply pre-empt SX for whatever takes their fancy.

Less CBS, more Speed. Can hardly wait until next week when the REAL motorsports channel is at the helm again!

CBS sucks, CBS sucks, CBS sucks, CBS sucks...

maaan, those guys are cheating! how do they get the chance to be filing the track that early!!

Profile Picture
bermblaster wrote: 8:41am February 3, 2012

1st off, CBS did a fine job last week in my area. Coverage was equal to speed if not better.

2nd, CBS is going to air whatever brings them the most viewers and/or money. Unfortunatley, there are millions more football fans in this world then mx/sx. CBS/ all stations are going to air what brings in the views/money.

I would personally rather watch county fair mx races then watch the superbowl.

@ Usrnameunknown you're right moron, stewart isn't gonna win tonight, he's gonna win tomorrow night when the race actually takes place

StewFan wrote: 9:20am February 3, 2012

Usrnameunknown, I'll have to side with ride2five! He'll win tomorrow night. Stewart is hungry for the Championship and I'm guessing for a season like in 2009, winning the majority of the races.

Any winning will have to go through RV first he is the speed Zen Master around here boy. If he ever gets his starts dialed in the others might as well go home. Personally I don't think Reed or Dungey can pass RV or JS but they in turn can pass them. But you are dealing with less then 20 minutes of racing on a postage stamp with beginner hoops so it makes for a holeshot or start position game relative to where RV or JS are. Only when I see any of these riders pass RV on the track will I even think about getting concerned.

The think the media day riders are selected on a rotation type basis by factory....last week it was the Honda boys...this week its kawasaki and then they throw in a couple other dudes like Alessi.... Do the guys that ride media day benefit from more time on the track...usaully they only hit a few sections and one triple
The soul purpose is for local media to cover the race so they can say " these guys on their motocross bikes jump 100 ft in the air"....all while asking really silly questions and mispelling riders names..in PHX, the local media had " Mike La essi" - no joke followed by them saying Chad Reed made 9million dollars last year???....the news folks that interview riders make our sport look bad in my opinion...the dude that crashed on the bike last year at Dodger was classic though!!!... I like them pumping the sport, but get someone who at least knows what they are remotley talking about...the camera man for NBC probably rides and shakes his head in disgust and the news reporter murders Villopotos name..HAHAHA.....

Wish we had a SX track around here to go play on. Nothing but desert, mountains, and 2 or 3 motocross tracks. Yep. Living in New Mexico REALLY sucks. It's hard. Really hard.

Oh, and some dunes, if you can stand the quadtards with no helmets and their babies on the handlebars.

Cool to see the guys throwing sick whips. Can't wait for Satur...er, Sunday!

I think I'll just leave this here, for those who won't get the SX aired at all (middle finger to CBS): google slicknick610, top result. I don't know nothin bout nothin.

media day is pretty much for any of the top guys that choose to show up and ride. they aren't picked. and the track is pretty much only half built at the time, no whoops or really tricky sections.

Profile Picture
sleestak wrote: 12:13pm February 3, 2012

would have to disagree with the comment that "reed cannot pass either RV or JS" cause he already did pass JS to win a race this year?

Profile Picture
bd200 wrote: 12:25pm February 3, 2012

KilloMoto--you havent a clue, Nobody is "picked" to get to ride the track early, its a media day type of thing and all the top guys can if they want.

@Claxton, Reed has already passed Stewie this season, and won the race, so you are wrong..

So nice to see this with out all that lame music. I love the sound of the bikes echoing in the stadium. Why don't we see more videos like this? I can't recall the last time we've ever seen a preview as good as this one. Thanks!
