I've got a buddy on the inside at GoPro and he told me they kick out an extra 20k to JS so ride behind at least one other guy till lap 15 because they've found their sales are way higher on weeks when the footage shows a guy in front of him because it better shows what the camera can do.

Did u read Mathes interview with Reedy. reedy said he was disappointed and im thinking he has the red plate now and got 2nd. nothing disappointing about that. Plus he kept RV behind him all the way to the checkers.

with the mainstream sports world getting all revved up for the superbowl this week, seems to me if only the rest of the world knew about our little sport ... we have weekly races that make the superbowl look like an insurance salesman convention in terms of real action, excitement and just straight up battles. @SpottedMarley you, sir are soooo right. I have always said those games are boring. If you took a stop watch and started and stopped it when there was REAL action, The fans would be sitting in front of the T V for 3 hours to watch a total of 15 minutes of action! I don't get it. Wonder what % of people watch the superbowl just to see the commercials? LOL
Yeah, not to mention the players that will sit on the bench the entire game and if they win the superbowl they will still make more money in that game then some of these professional mxers do thier entire career. Now thats sad!

When Townley was on the ground he looked like he might have a GoPro on which brings up the safety issue of these things. Would you be more likely to break your neck with a camera on you head or just a rounded helmet should you land on it?
