PrintWe got this update on Ryan Morais from Courtney at Road 2 Recovery, relayed by Jacki Short:
“Good News! Ryan is going home sometime today! Ryan is medically stable to go home. We would have to wait until Monday for his surgery here at LAC and it’s too much with Krue to be up here so we have an appointment Monday morning with an oral surgeon in Murrieta. Ryan will hopefully have his second jaw surgery next week. We are on the road to recovery! We want to thank our family, friends, fans, and everyone who has supported us in any way! We could not have got through this without you! Ryan is still in a lot of pain and talking exacerbates it! Thank you all again! God is great!”

That is really good news. So glad he's doing better. And yes, God is great!
supercross/motocross is the best sport in the world but it can reach up and bite you when you least expect it and you almost have to prepare yourself for when it is going to happen. It takes alot of courage and dedication to pull through tough injuries like this. get well soon at get back out there and do what you guys do best and thats ride dirt bikes.

Man, I realize racing can be dangerous but you never get used to the injuries. I'm glad to hear he is on the road to recovery!

"God is great", isn't that what the hijackers chanted before they flew into the Twin Towers? Stop using this forum for religious propaganda. You christians are becoming just as annoying as muslims. Are you claiming that your god is somehow responsible for Ryan's recovery. If so why didn't he/she/it just prevent the accident in the first place.The only thing that one can indisputably claim contributed to his recovery is medical science, so why don't you people thank the doctors and scientists instead of your imaginary magic deity in the sky. From all the comments on this site it seems that religiosity is at medieval levels in America. The battle between science and superstition still has a long way to go in the US.

God is good I have been injured so badly that God was all I had to comfort me and my family in the summer of 2002 it was bad I could feel I was close to my maker. Let's just give thanks that God allows us to have free will to RIDE enjoy each other.... the family has a a strong beliefs an that's good morals America allows that...let's all show some respect. ...and Alfred were you magically cured overnight of your injuries? No. You healed like any other normal human with some pharmaceutical assistance. So don't associate recovering from an injury to some god.

I don't know much about religion, but is it really true that you have to thank God in words every time you are at the podium?
Isn't it enough to thank God by your own thoughts, acts and prayers?

Wouldn't you say" god is great" if you had decent placing? You woke up in a hospital that is owned mostly by "Christians" who...get this, will only help you if you have money!!!!!! to quote the immortal irwin m fletcher aka fletch i believe in a god that doesnt require heavy finace. i dont think god had anything to do with this crash but whatever it takes to get through somethin like this is ok by me.i wish both guys a full recovery. idk how much more these dudes can take .god should damn tuff block covers.
