he said it, if he starts in 15th, he can not catch those guys, not a good racing attitude

@TOMPOUND...

how is that not a good racing attitude? he knows he can't catch those guys if he doesn't start with them...sounds like he is giving respect to his opponents and he knows that he isn't head and shoulders above the rest anymore in terms of speed.

because that is giving up already, a good racing attitude is, no matter where you start, you give it your all, knowing in your mind you have what it takes too dig deep, and put in 100% effort to win, not to say well if I don,t get a good start I will not win.

Lets see.... You give excuses and then say, " well no excuses " ???? Then why bother giving them, You contradict your self all the time Stewie.

"You cant start in 15th place and expect to catch those guys ????" Well, RV did it from dead last !!!

Next Excuse................ Stay tuned

Stewart did it too, and he did it last year at daytona. 9th isn't 3rd but its good enough when you're close to a minute behind. RV2's nuts must be a little sore with all these guys hanging off them.

Why knock down what he said, it all sounded honest to me. Most people on here can't count to 10 much less than make a comment on someone that they don't know. Please stick with you couch potato video games.

Typical adolescent hating douchebags on here!! Oh, and here is a newsflash you numbnuts...RV did not catch everybody last week, he got to third, a great ride yes, but that is James point...you can't start in the back and make it to the front and race with the top guys. RV didnt make it back to race with RD did he???? nope!! Getting back to the top five, usually up to third, is about the best one of those guys can expect if one of the good guys is in the lead!! STFU you idiotiotic, negative losers!!

He gave respect to tough competition I thought. You cant expect to catch them from a 15th place start is a fair comment. I think he'll straighten things out excuses or not he'll get it going he's still fast.

REF man - Indeed.....Ryan Dungey always says something semi-negative followed by those same three words " but no excuses"...they make a statement of things that may have been a factor in the night, but they are not using it as an excuse....My boy RV caught KDUB who was about 10-15 seconds behind Dungey.....RV wasn't catching Dungey or Weimer who was about 5 seconds or more in front of KDUB, unless they had another 10 laps .... I think James gives total respect to those guys and if RV or Dungey get a holeshot, he knows they are gone if he is back in the pack...seems pretty straight forward to me.....

you guys always bash on Stewart but hes still the fastest guy out there yeah rv caught those guys from dead last because he crashed on the opening lap and the pack was still together Stewart crashed half way through the race so by that time they were all spread out im not a Stewart fan but you sit here and bash on him but on his worst day u can have a 10 lap head start and he will still smash on you guys even on a 125

I'm not his BIGGEST fan, but this guy can't win with you dumb asses. No matter what he said, the same people will always puke out the same crap. When YOU can quallify for one of these, I'll hang on your every word, no matter where you finish. But that ain't gonna happen, is it?

Well said Johnny6....some people on here don't know their ass from a hole in the ground...I could go on and on but we'll just see what happens in the next few rounds and hopefully JS7 can shut a few of these idiots up.

Give the guy a break already! I thought it was an honest interview too. Well said johnny6. However, I'm an old school MX/SX fan and my favorite rider is Ricky Johnson from the 80's and 90's. I can't remember which venue it was, but Johnson had a SX race where he started in 20th place and came back to win the race. Johnson put in an EPIC effort and stole the show! It can be done!
