Flat........looks like a road race. Glen Helen to Pala. Pala to Elsinore. Does anyone else think this keeps going in the wrong direction?

I like these GoPro videos but I wish they would do one once in a while without music. Bike sounds are music enough.

Glen Helen! Please bring it back!

Elevation: I'll never forget standing atop a monstrous Glen Helen downhill watching RC rip the corner, scrub the lip and fly half way down the hill completely flat, land, brake, get all kinds of squirrely then explode the bottom berm like he was trying to tear it down. Every damn lap. Sic

I dont get it... why do they always practice on tarmac smooth tracks? even during the nat's you see them practicing on smooth tracks yet race on rough ones, cant be good for bike set up.

I don't understand why you guys complain about a video at all. Racer X is just trying to give their readers material. You are all lucky we have sites that put up any video let alone new material each day.

And David Pingree and Ronnie Renner last I checked don't race and aren't practicing for a motocross race so who gives a crap if the track looks smooth and mint. Give it a rest and stop complaining about everything.

Ha Ha, walker's right mx phreek. And even though it's not as rough as a national by the end of a weekend, I'll bet ping will wake up with leg cramps tonight. When this property is filled with track homes twenty years from now the whining will have changed to crying.

The facilities look good, and the track was groomed well, but it looks like an outdoor supercross track.. Sure I would love to ride it, but I dont like those tracks for a National, sorry.. Natural elevation changes and even soil changes for different sections of the track is what an outdoor Natiuonal is supposed to be. This place must have alot of bleachers that the promotors can sell after you get to the track, so they can make more money.

Okay i really dont care about the facilities like some people, i go for the track, and for the track it looks good, but dude put something in between the straight aways, getting a little boring

And RV thought Pala was fast. Kawasaki better bring a fairing and a 30T rear because Villopoto's average speed on that track is going to be about 90 mph. I hope they are just testing the waters, there is no way that should be a permanent PRO national track.

All right, all you young whipper-snappers, "get off my track!". At 57, this is the track for me! Any track is really a good track, and the worst day riding Moto is better than the best day working,(unless you do Porno), but I like to wide-open once in a while without wadding up my old bones! The track masters at Pala should watch this and take notes; this is more what a 'Vet' track should be. Just rode Pala's 'Vet' track last week; more like an intermediate track; killed my back on it. Looks like Lake 'Smellsomemore' got it right! Can't wait to recover from Pala and head up to Elsinore. Good form Ronnie & "Ping-a-ling-a-Ding-Dong! Props to Cahuilla as well, their new and improved Vet track is old man awesome! Until next time; Moto on Dudes(and Dudettes)

I have been there 3 times now, and I really like it. I have yet to see the track look like the condition of this video, and it does rut up and get a little rough by noon. I am a vet intermediate (38) and love it. I used to complain about the slick concrete dirt back in the day. The new crew here does a great job with the dirt. Right amount of water and till it deep to avoid blue groove. The track is really fast and it makes you feel like a hero for a couple laps. That said,,, The track wears me out quickly too. The three whoop / rythm sections are enough to make you wish you stretched before riding..LOL..The thing to remember is it it very different to other tracks. Which is great. I don't always feel like a cahuilla or glen helen,, and same with a perris or starwest... This track is another great option and benefit to living in SoCAL....Hats off to the crew for a great layout and good dirt..P.S. get there early and its a freeway (like cahuilla) its really fun!! and still a workout too. Don't pull off and ride around the whoop sections like half the riders do if you want some bumps

Fun video. Nice looking local practice track. They found new dirt and put up a cool fence. Great. However, this does not make it a great place to hold a National. It's still a flat cookie cutter track. If i'm going to a National it needs to have some hills. I dont care about nice toilets and cell phone reception. I will stand in poison ivy on the side of a cliff in 120 degree weather if the track is good. Bring back Glen Helen.

TURN THE FREAKING MUSIC DOWN OR OFF PLEASE!!!!

I know that typing in all caps is considered "SHOUTING"....I meant to shout actually!

BTW - The video or Renners face was a waste of time with the overly loud music over the sound of the bikes. Love Renner, just would have rather watched him ride.

@Metta ...I could not agree more! I remember in 2001 or 2002 RC riding for Kawi going over the berm (Taladaga Turn) at the start, tumbling all the way down the backside of the hill, climbing back up the backside of the berm in dead last by about 20 seconds and coming all the way back to 2nd place. Your description of his ride at GH was right on the money. That was hands down the ballsiest ride I have ever seen. I thought he was dead coming down the monster downhills every single lap. The breaking bumps were 3 feet high, and he was just FLYING down the hills with his right elbow dropped to the stop! If anyone on this board has seen that, you seriously believe that RC is THE MAN and nobody, not Dungey, Stewie, or Villopoto could even hang with him.
