Props to Osbourne for layin it down, shows those CLUB MX guys know what their doin, would like to see Broc Tickle do better hes been struggling all year and it doesnt look good for him next season if he cant get some good finishes. Lastly Mike Alessi? How does a broke racer make it all the way over there to race. Tony maxing out his cards? ha
Way to go Brayton and Osbourne!
Be interesting to see Osbourve racing over here again, but then again, very cool to see him representing the USA again in Europe as well.
Alessi has got to be embarrased with his results as it appears the guy is a mess.
Brayton nicely done sir, not one loss is impressive. Chilsom didnt do as well as i thought he would. Feel bad for tickle we he could turn it up. Really wish jeff alessi would have been healthy so he could have been there, he needs some racing in before A1
Anybody noticed our local guy Arnoud Tonus finished second overall in front of some regular ama riders? We are very proud of him. Show some respect here as well! Props to brayton, he owned geneva! Searle was better at the afterparty then on the track unfortunately, hahah. Party was epic then (sorby was on stage...)
Tonus is a very respectible rider and I don't think he needed a 2nd overall in Geneva to prove that. The guy has been very competative in the FIM and British Motocross MX2 classes, and its nice to see he has some Supercross skills as well. Americans (such as myself) tend to overlook the european riders. Mention any European rider besides Cairoli and no one will have a clue who your talking about. Fortunetly, I keep up with every series and keep tabs on upwards of 300 riders, so results like these don't really catch me by suprise.
Beeeeeeeff!!!!
Matt Goerke in the house
Tonus is another very, very good GP rider. To see him, and a couple of other Euros amongst long time US SX riders, is impressive.
Tonus, is going to be something special, I think, along the lines of Musquin, Roczen and Herlings.
I hope Osborne can keep it together and avoid injuries, in the GPs next year. It's his best chance for a title, but Herlings, Tonus, Tixier (sp?) and a few others are going to be Very hard to beat. There so many fast young Euros. Good luck to him, he's a credit to MX in general.
I also hope Tickle can put things together, for next season. The point out system is ridiculous, he should have been allowed to defend his regions Title, or go for the other one, before being forced to go to 450s. At least PC have stood behind him - great stuff fro PC / Mitch.
WOW Alessi is stepping it up!!! LOL
Brayton is becoming the Larry Ward of the off-season races.
Tickle had a tough weekend. Not only some sub-par results, but they spelled his first name two different ways, both wrong.
i dont get it.. goerky in the first night was suzuki, then kawasaki and in the last day in a yamaha??
I'm impressed by Cyrille Coulon. I remember checking his lap times two years ago when he came over from Europe to race a few rounds of Supercross with Fabien Izoird and the Le Top team, and thought "wow, that guys fast". He seemed to have some bad luck in mains, but with the results he's gotten here and at Bercy, I think he deserves another shot.
