Stars On the Track and In the Stands for Las Vegas EnduroCross
AMA Legends & Champions Weekend attracting the heavy hitters of the sport

Irvine, CA – The Las Vegas GEICO AMA EnduroCross Finals, presented by Lucas Oil, will have the regular stars of the sport on the track while the AMA Legends & Champions Weekend is also attracting many of the stars of motorcycling. The weekend kicks off on Friday, November 18th with the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. The ceremony will officially welcome five icons to the Hall of Fame. The class of 2011 includes motocross promoter Stu Peters, magazine editor Phil Schilling, industry leader Fred Fox, road racing champion Doug Polen and motorcycling pioneer Norbert Schickel. In addition to the class of 2011, the induction ceremony will honor the careers of two existing Hall of Fame Legends: world champion motocrosser Roger DeCoster and roadracer Kenny Roberts.

Several of these legends of motorcycling along with Broc Glover, Wayne Rainey, Eddie Lawson and Brad Lackey to name a few, will attend the EnduroCross finals on Saturday, November 19th at the Orleans Arena. They will be on hand to see if KTM’s Taddy Blazusiak can win both main events that evening to complete the first ever perfect season in EnduroCross. But you can expect Mike Brown, currently second in the championship, GEICO Honda’s Geoff Aaron and the Monster Kawasaki team of Justin Soule and Taylor Robert to do everything possible to keep that from happening. Blazusiak has dominated the usually unpredictable sport of EnduroCross this season but you truly never know what might happen, especially with two main events on the same evening.

Like all EnduroCross events, you can count on a lot of activity at the Orleans Arena all day on Saturday, November 19th. The pits are open free all day to meet the top riders and check out their bikes up close. The arena is also open for free during the daytime qualifiers that start on Saturday morning as well as for the Expert practice and Hot Laps that take place during the midafternoon.

Tickets are available at http://www.orleansarena.com/event-calendar/endurocross and www.EnduroCross.com.
