Aranda is a clown, he rides like a squid. He deserved it, I wish he would have stayed out there laying down and Alessi would have run over him, that was stupid.
i really, really, like barcia, but he kind of went out like a b!&ch;. that other dude was an idiot on the track and deserved for barcia to take him high and out of the race. but if you are gonna play like that on the track better be ready to go to knuckles off the bike. dont run away.
That was stupid of Aranda to lay down, but I think Barcia was the bigger dweeb in this whole debacle.
I totally understand emotions getting the best of a rider in the heat of racing, but c'mon dudes, try to be pro about it.
That was funny! Barcia.. That was great.. Classic.. Aranda did not do it on purpose..(looked like rear end came out from under him) understand the frustration.. Justin.. The only thing that would have been better if the fists started flying...Let it go or punch it out next time.. LOL...

I don't think Aranda's move was even intentional, he was just out of control. It doesn't make him any less of a squid, but Barcia couldn't have possibly handled it any more poorly than he did. Aranda took him out. Fine. Get back on your bike, beat him, and clean him out if the possibility permits. Don't wait for him, stop him and talk smack (like he could hear you anyway), give up AGAIN, and then puss out on a fight that you instigated. Punk.

It was totally unintentional on Aranda's part and Barcia, although i like him, was the squid in this case, that is why you see him doing the right thing and apologizing for being an idiot!! You sound like a squid too bd200!! If a French rider would have come to the states and acted like that to one of our American riders, you would want his head on a platter!! Barcia is a dumb kid,he likes to ride dirty but when he get cleanned out he freaks out and tries to do something about it, but when he saw that Aranda was coming for him...he juste ran like a little bi***!
Barcia really looks stupid here. I've never heard of this french rider, but he was just riding hard, (Barcia style?) Justin vents, ruins the guys race, calls him out, then runs scared!!! PATHETIC!!!!! Has Justin signed with team Alessi?? Did Tony coach him here?? What a squid!!!!
Barcia acted like a child, very unprofessional. The dude was out of shape, it was not on purpose. It's arena-cross dude. Used to be a fan but his antics are getting old...

I just watched it a couple of times, yes I think that was pretty low of Barcia and the other guy was being a fool also. going out and laying down on the track? The whole thing was kinda pathetic.At least nobody got hurt.

This reminds me of somthing that happened in 1976 some guy that was from district 37 in CA was racing in the Midwest for a few weeks that summer he had a nbr 1 plate and a blue Honda and the guy thought he was hot stuff. It was in the 125 expert class and he was suppoded to be nb1 in district 37 AMA not CRC. I had a few run ins with this guy? Anybody out there know who that would be? Just remembered that, ya I took the guy out. He was riding like a jerk. That deos not say much for me either.
You guys gotta realise something here ... these guys race to win and an event like this and th MEC are super high tension. Barcias move was a bit uncalled for but put yourself in his shoes.... he had a legit shot at winning this thing untill that happened. Hopefully Aranda gets some good rides in and comes to the US.... we could see a nice Barcia vs Aranda rivialry in the 450 class in the years to come after this.

Greg Aranda acted stupid too, he could have just punch the blondy face to teach him life ! He was fighting for the win and everything is stopped by a stupid move. This race for French riders is really important, this is one where they can finally race some of the best supercross riders of the world, missing it is like missing the world championship for them, specially when some great American riders make the trip. Greg was in Vegas, he missed the main event for 1 position, he has been pushed out of the track in each races but did stay pro !
Hope we will have a great fight between Justin and Greg tonight, let's sport talking !
Have to agree with what a lot of people have said here. Aranda was at best out-of-control and at worst pulling a JS7-style stupid move, but certainly I don't think he was intentionally trying to take out Barcia.
And Barcia, of all people, getting upset because he was taken out by someone?! Oh please! When he takes someone out, then it's "that's racing". When he gets taken out he has a meltdown.
And totally agree, if he's going to let his mouth write cheques, his $ss had better be able to cash them. Didn't seem so tough when Aranda came over for a piece of him.

Justin Barcia is quickly becoming the next Jason Lawrence. Bad bahavior, poor sportmanship, intentionally taking guys out BUT crying foul when he gets the short end - in all, very bad behavior. In this market it is just a moment in time and he will be delivering pizzas. Honda will not stand for that with so many talented riders out there begging for a chance.
Be careful when pointing out the splinter in your brothers eye, when you have a log stuck in yours! Just sayins all. Barcia screwed up, apologized, and that's that, done! It never ceases to amaze me how many "white as the driven snow" people post on here. You know somebody had to forgive you for some major screw up in your life. Hopefully they didnt go around calling you a bunch of inappropriate names too.
Now that was funny. This is why we all watch Moto though, to watch crazy stuff then talk about it.

Aranda is a squid, and Barcia parks him and he lays on the track to try and black flag the race. And you act like what he did was alright. Barcia is a complete fool here. Guys been at the center of 90% of all puntings (which are on purpose) over the past few years and he flips out over an unintentional contact. Probably the most embarassing display I've seen out of a Pro in.....forever? I'm not even talking about how he then booked for the pits as Aranda came to say hello. That just put a double exclamation point on being a complete weasel to boot. Surprised at bd200 here. Whether or not Aranda has issues with being a squid has nothing to do with what Barcia embarassed himself, his team and his sponsors with. I can't get over what a stupid clown move that was. Makes the whole sport look sooooo amateurish. Needs to change his nickname to Pebbles or Wilma, cuz Bam-Bam wouldn't have run away like that.

Aranda was out of control, he could have had his back wheel tapped. Bottom line was it was racing. But Barcia calls out Aranda and when Aranda steps off his bike, Barcia runs away like a a little girl. What a Wuss. He has a helmet on for crying out loud, what's the worse that could happen? Don't call someone out if you can't back it up. Good for Aranda for stepping off his bike and standing up to him.
Never thought i would say this, but good post B-KR!! It's easy to tell by watching it that It WAS unintentional, and sure "it's racing"...but the thing for Barcia to do is get back up and race to see how high he could finish. Instead he waits for Aranda to come around and ruins his race, brings him to a complete stop and sticks his middle finger in the guys face in front of his home crowd!! Complete bulls--t!!! V-O-R is dead on....watch the reaction a French rider would get if he pulled the same move on an American rider over here!! It would not be well received. Sure, some of the "Jackass" viewing conglomerate on here think it's funny and Barcia was justified, but they will probably be out smashing pumpkins on halloween tonight too, so consider the source!! He deserves any bad press he gets over it for awhile!! He rode his ass off when he did actually ride though, easily COULD have won the whole thing again!! Oh well....

Barcia is a true champion, who was pissed off about some no-name frenchie who took him out. How come everyone overlooks the fact that Aranda laid in the middle of the track? It’s one thing to get pissed and do what Barcia did, but I’ve never seen someone dumb enough to lie in the middle of the track…

Barcia could have just blocked the guy in the corner and then exited the track. But instead he blocked him, waited for him, then circled back around to confront him head on. Except when the French guy got off his bike and started to follow through with what Barcia was acting like he wanted, Barcia btched out.
Barcia has always been a little smart@ss punk. "Oh gee, ya know guys, it was just racing, so I don't know what he's so upset about", remember that with Dungey? Or how about any other rider he's tried to pull his wild child bullsht on. But Barcia gets washed out on accident, the Frenchie lost control coming over that double, and Barcia has a meltdown.
Glad we got to see Barcias learning he's not as tough as he thinks he is. He got taken out on that move he pulled with Dungey. And he just punked out of a fight from this French guy.

Barcia . . . a true champion?????? WTF???? If it was RC it would gotten up and won!!!! Even JS( I dont like him) goes over the bars and comes back for 9th(ish). Then Reed lauched into the stratusphere and gets up for 9th or 7th. True champions don't run from fights they meet them head on and not B*tch out. If this was Alessi, everyone and I mean everyone would lynch him. Barcia thinks at 145 lbs he some tough guy, well maybe with 13 year mini kids, but not with a 175 pounder who will beat him to a pulp. Just embarssing for a French guy make him run away like a girl. when jmb was racing here in 1992 and 92 he always rode clean and still got booed just because he wasnt from the us even though he was the best rider in the world, so for marcia oops i mean barcia to think he could get away with it in the guys home race is just as stupid as the way he revs his bike w f o even when he is in the air....... and then run from the guy, i will never look at him as a man just a scared long blonde haired girl

Barcia = drama queen.... Aranda was kinda askin for it by ridin like a squid Fri and Sat (didn't see Friday, but heard they had some drama that night as well), but Barcia should have picked his happy ass off the ground and rode like a champ, not cry and complain (this is MX afteralll - shit happens). Granted, it was a tough weekend for him, the night before I'm sure you all heard his front wheel spokes got taken out. Both riders were riding pretty intense and out of control. I'd hold neither responsible honestly.
Just wanted to say word up to Nick Wey and Eli Tomac for being good sportsmen and representatives of the US by apologizing for the incident when they had nothing to do with it. Not enough can be said for that kind of behavior.
Oh yeah, and I'm glad Barcia didn't "back it up".... This is MX, and fights do happen, but when you're racing a pro race in another country have some f*ckin respect. This wasn't about who could knock who out, this was about punching a Frenchman in front of his home crowd over something that neither rider could avoid (as someone stated earlier - if that happened here we'd have his head!!). I understand VERY well the heat of the moment anger and adrenaline, and lack of decision making skills, but after cooling down I think both riders realized it was stupid, as should all of us!
Good drama to watch, nonetheless! Controversy sells! I was yelling at my friend at work infront of clients "THEY'RE GONNA FIGHT!!" lol!! Just another reason I love this sport!

This past Supercross Lites East Coast, I dont remember Barcia "crying, b*tching, complaining" or any of that when Deano started to stuff Barcia in the corners... I remember talking with a smile on his face saying I'm glad someones doing it to me...

Its not a big deal like everyone is making it out to be. JB said sorry. I saw Bradshaw do this to a guy at a local race 10 years ago and it was the funniest thing I ever saw. He took the guy right to the top of the berm and parked him and pointed at him and said a few words and motored off to win the race. Classic stuff. I can see JB not taking any crap from riders like JS when he moves to the 450 full time. Hannah would have done the same thing.
