Hansen is such a piece of shit loser. I love the looks from Windham and Brayton like, "is this kid for real, what a joke". Looks like Poto thinks he's won already. Just kidding, that was pretty funny at the end there. Can't wait for Saturday night, one last hoorah to hold us over 'til A1. Or maybe I should say Hangtown since SX is just a holdover for the real racing outdoors.
What happened to Josh Hansens face? He get cut or knifed down in Los Angeles hanging out with the people he hangs out with? Looks like it.
Brayton looked a little surprised at Hansens comment.
Villopoto was funny though, he's right, who cares about trophy you don't get to keep.

Hansen's always been a loser. He'll put anyone on the ground at any time for any reason, he just said he would do it just for the story. That's pure loser, no doubt about it.
hansen will never get it. Look at all the past champions in our sport and how many of them ride dirty to get around people? how many times did dungey and villpotos bikes touch during thier 24 moto battles this year? NONE. If you dont have respect in this sport for who your racing, you dont belong out there.

Forgot to add, Hansens going to do very good in this race, he's practically a freestyle rider. Big floater jumps like these are his style.
Good thing James isn't racing, he'd probably get someone killed with his out of control riding.
And Adam Ciancurilo (however you spell it), really? You guys gave him interview time and had him come to the press conference? I don't care about seeing him or his interviews. Keep it out of the cut next time.
Exactly...Hanny has his talent on the bike for sure, but WTF is he doing on the press box with the likes of Windham and RV for an inaugural event like this??? especially if he is going to act like that....He tries SO hard to be cool,..... sorry buddy, Deegan already played that role over ten years ago and you look like a poser up there....Hanny will be out of the race half way down the start straight....and I bet he does something stupid " just to be talked about next week" in race 2 or 3 when he knows he is out and its his last ride on the PC.......watch.
@rcx1, nothing wrong with giving the up and comers some media time, if the kid's as fast as I hear you'll be hearing him talk a ton in the future, so why not get to know him a little now. Not only that but he did a great job with the interview at such a young age.
we have our answer about the presence of Hanny at the press conference, almost all comments are about him, he makes us talk more than all the others ha ha!

@warrior462, the kid is in 9th grade and he still rides 85s. He should be on a 250 at least by that age. That kid is so hyped up. He handled himself well in the interview, but I still don't care about seeing him mixed up there with the 450 pros.

Killomoto...Hanson is already on H&H, so yes this will be his last ride with PC.
If anyone of the riders said they wouldn't take someone out for a million, you would all be bashing on them because that is absurd.
I am not defending Hansen because I don't think he deserves any ride because of his last name. But if anyone of you have raced, you would put someone over the tuff blocks for a gold plastic trophy. Read between the lines.
It is unbelievable that a respectable person like Mitch Payton with all his success still helps an asshole like Hansen. I guess nobody will ever know why , The last thing our sport needs is an idiot like hansen. I really hope he gets his ass kicked.
@rcx1; Adam Cianciarulo is the "Ricky Carmichael" for every 14 year old kid in the US (if not the world) and for him to get some press coverage is not only a very cool thing for a kid his age but, more importantly a very good marketing decision to let the world see the next generation of GOAT's from the Farmteam, so to speak.
My money is on Adam Cianciarulo for the Saturday Night Special...

We all wish that we had a little talent like Hansen, plus there is no one out there that would not put a rider down for 1M dollars. Adam Ciancurilo is over rated, and there is just no one left racing unless you too have a rich daddy that drives you all around the country for the last 10 years and the best equipment. A monkey would be good with all he has been given.

RV is too short sighted. He should plan to win next year and the year after and so on. Then he can keep the Cup.

As if Hansen would be getting the million for his takeout. He'll need to pull about 20 takeouts over the 3 races. I think one big factor is going to be the fact that only 15 minutes between the races back to back to back. Not much time for rest and not much time for fixing issues with bikes.

Why? Everyone jokes that he's already a better interview than Dungey (and by "jokes" I mean "states matter-of-factly").
And I don't know the rules, but I would think that it would make sense to move up to a bigger bike when you're big enough, not when you reach a certain age (although it's true he might be a little big for the 85).

Theres some great riders at that table ....should be interesting .It won't be so easy for Hansen to muscle those guys... Is there a list anywhere of all confirmed riders.?
I wonder if they had McG design the SX part and RC do the MX?
Just the SX part of that track is going to take a toll. 30 minutes on it at race pace is going to be killer.

AC got an interview because he is part of what this event is about. It's not like he just was in the crowd and they called him up. Monster is promoting the Am-All stars and AC is def. one of them. So why bash on him? He's a kid trying to come up in the racing world and this is a cool thing he is getting to do. Yeah, He gets alot of stuff, but they don't "give" you talent.
Hansen,, He said what any one of those guys would have said, He just got asked the question. For all you know unless you were there, they asked all the riders that. AND it's a million bucks, most of those guys would plant AC92 for 100,000 bucks let alone a million so calling Hansen out for saying what is said is you just looking for another reason to call him a dirt bag. There are plenty of other reasons to do that.
RV races to get his teams name on the Chamberlain trophy at the MXDN and he does that for free. And they have to take it back to the race every year and put it up for grabs. If he wins, I promise he will be glad to haul that trophy home. It's no Chamberlain Trophy but this is only the first year for the event, if it does go off well and gets a good decade of racing on it, it would be kinda cool to have your name being the first one.
All i have to say is GO KW. So awesome to see him racing again. sport aint the same without him.
I thought it was sick to see AC at the press conference... he gives better interviews than many of our pros (kills Dungey), and he was flying! The corner speed of those mini dudes is amazing.
It nice to see Ryans personality coming out in interviews. There's a lot of great things to look forward to from him.
The mec will be a great event. But this press conference shows all the downsides of american motocross/supercross.
A 85 kid on live tv is just wrong. Let the kid race and don´t make him a VIP.
Some wannabe punk gets a ride and guys like Townley, Alessi or last season Reed have problems getting a ride. WTf?

I think Hanny is an "individual" with a unique personality living in the U. S. of A. and he adds color to an otherwise overly hyped corporate-saturated politically correct line of riders speeches! Him being in the mix gets everybody thinking differently. I love it!

Oh yea, and ac...damn that kid looked so comfortable out there. i seriously wouldn't doubt that he could mix it up for a few laps with some of these guys. hes gonna be a moto superstar one of these days.

If RV wants to to keep the trophy, all he has to do is win it next year . . . and the year after that . . .and so on.

AC is not an just some up and coming amatuer, he's the real deal and if we are lucky, we are going to see him represent the best the wide pool of American talent has to offer. He will win championships. And he's such a good interview cause he has had a microphone and a camera on him since he was seven. I hope we don't have to wait for AC to make the big bike class till we start seeing some better interviews, the current crop of racers give forgettable, interchangable interviews that will never make the mainstream news. If you have the speed, we will love you. If you give a great interview also, the world also has a chance to love you.
Clearly, RV is counting the money already and nobody is ragging on him for his hubris. (me neither)
