Why is Monster on their hands and knees for Hansen when they have so many other moto athletes?
Josh Hansen??? Thats what they came up with? Wtf...
PERSONALITY. He actually has one, whether you like it or not. Hes definetly not a corporate robot. As bad as you want to hate him, hes still a threat when there is an all or nothing race. How exciting would it be for someone other than a guy named Ryan to be out front?
I think they used Hansen because they didn't want to polarize fans by using a rider that actually has a shot at winning. Would have been cooler to have Villopoto, Dungey, Stewart, and Reed all sitting around a poker table, looking all bad ass playing Texas Hold'em.
Somebody at Monster clearly is in love with Hansen. They basically forced Mitch to put him on a 450 for X-Games a few years ago and pushed for him to be on the team. Personality is not why he was used as his certainly is not anything to gush over. They had a similar love affair with that Law guy.
Amazing.. Hansen is clearly loved by Monster... The guy must be so well recognized by the mass's... Ha,ha...
The very fact that all the comments above mine are about monster using Hanson is the exact reason why they used Hanson.
They used Hansen because he is the only guy who had free time to do it......the rest of the guys were out racing, not dickin' around trying to be hollywood.
