In the 3rd race, RV and Dungey went 1-2, just saw it.
At least Baggett was consistent and brought it home in one piece. Good job.
Good job, consistent?
Hey we won with two riders this year somehow, I like Blake a lot but lets face it
he stunk up the track big time in the mud.
I think Blakes fast but not consistant enough to have been chosin.... chupaloopa err whatever was premature spew. Just my free thought. Coulda been the Hodaka was a tad under powered, maybe even under suspended, but bad enough for 17th? thats not likely. Bet the wild child coulda pulled 1 top 3 or better , pretty sure Welker coulda pulled off 17th ;0......
Yep, Blake Baggett sunk straight to the bottom like a ten-dollar rock.
I had said early in the MXdN pre-hype that Baggett was easily comparable to Roczen and vice versa, but when he started stumbling in later races I realized that KR was going to walk over him. He woke up for Pala and the practice moto yesterday, but slipped when it mattered. Still, giving him a hard time about it isn't helping, and anyway WE WON!
So relax, everyone. I'm sure he's disappointed in his performance, but he'll probably redeem the shit out of himself at some point in the future.
He went 4-4 in his class. We know Roczen and Musquin are fast, not to mention more "at home" for this race.
@RyanD
Sure, but Roczen didn't just do well for his class--he was up front battling with the big boys, and I'm sure Baggett wanted to show that he could match him. Probably could have on a good day, but this wasn't it.
tough day for bagget but he gutted it out against the worlds best riders...never a doubt tho with the ryans ! congrats boys 4 keepin our streak alive and delivering more of the same 2 the euros on thier turf...pourcel looked fast in his qualifier but obviously had issues on his home turf..and anyone know what happened to cairoli ?
WOW, i was there and saw Ken Roczen beat Dungey strait up and also LAPPED Bagget, and all that on a 250f! Ken IS the BEST 250 rider in the WORLD, HANDS DOWN!!
no doubt Roczen put in a awesome ride but to say he is the best 250 rider in the world has yet to be proven. he did spank the americans in europe but he got beat earlier this year on US soil. i like the guy and think hes a great outdoor rider...maybe the best but hes gotta win at sx to be the best 250 rider in the world.
