badass...Chalk up another win for U.S.A.
does it even make a difference which ryan races mx1 ?
imo, easy year to pick. congrats
It a great team but lets not count our cookies till we cookem!! Anything can happen.
shuda bin Bubba Mookie Frenchie , now we dont have a chance , usa gets it wrong again , at least we will be in the top ten ...maybe
Two previous MXDN champions and easly the fastest 250 ridder on any given day in america if he can keep it on two wheels. It's looking good!
awesome! make us proud boys!
Since RD put a whoopin' on the Euro's butts two years in a row, I'd say he's the pick for MX1, but if RV pulls out the 450 title, he'd probably be the pick for MX1. Zach Osborne gets overlooked again for MX2. (Though I'm not sure if he's healthy right now.)
Ennie, meenie, my-knee, wowie! Who will be the one to ride the biggie...
no offense endoman, but zach osborne could barely pull a top ten in the states, so why would he be considered for the u.s mxdn team? i know he's a good rider but come on
MX1/Open moto = Ryan 1st, and Ryan 2nd
MX1/MX2 moto = Ryan 1st, and Blake 7th (Between 1st - 3rd in class - Roc and Herling)
Open/MX2 moto = Ryan 1st, and Blake 4th (Between 1st - 3rd in class)
Now this is a Dream Team.... All three are capable of dominating! Just concerned about overconfidence... But all three seem humble enough to avoid that. Who ever takes the AMA 450 title should be the MX1 rider for the Team. Neither Ryan have any apparent weakness... Just hope Blake can pull off good starts. Congrats to the two Ryans and El ChupaCabra!
No doubt DUNGEY is captain of the team over RV. This team is very strong and for the first time I can tell you it will be a breeze. Its better than last yrs team and the past. We have 3 of the strongest riders in the world right now and on the best equipment.
WE WILL WIN all classes, if not we are gonna be real close. Euro 250 riders may be good but Bagget is just as good and on better equipment. The only Euro 250 machine that is like PC is the KTM's
Cannot imagine how much pressure is on Blake.
So, where's the fastest man on the planet? Shouldn't they be sending him??
Excellent team choice by the way
Any other team right now would make no sense. National wins before Unadilla: Team USA - 9, Reed - 4, Rattray - 3 . For those nationality-impaired, CR and Tray are NOT from the same country (not even same continent!)
Baker, Baker, what the hell is in the water in MN?
Hmmmmmmm.
Thats a solid team everyone of them is fast and consistant.
To answer the question posed by chevy06... Unfortunately I think the fastest man on the planet is stuck in a parallel universe called Bubba's World! Hope he can get back to the outdoors next year... That would make the 2012 season very interesting .
The fastest men on the planet are running 1-2 in the 450 Outdoor Series. Baggett is a great choice for the little bikes. Honestly, the only ones I see challenging the US would be France and Austraila (hope I spelled that right).
Ronnie...I'm just not sure about Baggett's consistency. Zach is(was) top 5 in the GP's and did good at last year's MXdN riding for PR. If our MX2 rider can just finish in the top 10, the two Ryans will carry the team. If Baggett gets decent starts and keeps it on two wheels, he may do what Roczen did last year in Colorado.
alright! let's kick some ass, boys! show'em euros how it's done...go usa!!!
actually the fastest man on the planet is rc how anyone could think otherwise is insane.... i love rv but rc would have been ready race 1 and rd very strong but rc wouldnt have had a dnf and even if he did he would win almost every other race and it wouldnt matter and bubba couldnt beat ricky even in his retirement year and lets not forget bubba rode an outdoors last year and barely made the top 10 if that
Book It! Easy win for the good ole U S of A. Second should go to the Italians. Third place finishers; 'The Orange'.
Villopoto is really humble on that pic, mark of a great champion!
The start that #57 gets will determine the win in that class! Baggett, Heirlings, and Roczen. I'm not sure that bagget can beat either of them in a sand track situation. If Roczen has improved his training program he will win his motos.
Still a USA overal though.
ANYONE REMEMBER MY POST SAYONG BARCIA WILL PODIUM TODAY? He went 3-3 and LEAD MOTO ONE FOR WHAT 17 MINUTES!
ROCK ON BAM BAM!!!!!!!
Italy 2nd? lol right... There a one man team, First is outta you guys and France, and I'm tellin ya now, it won't be the walk in the park you guys think it will be. Last place on the podium is up for grabs, ya got australia (who never seem to perform at the Nations), Germany with K.Roc and Nagl, Belgium have Van Horebeek and Desalle and the UK who have Searle and Wilson. I do however think Cairoli will win the indivual honours though. K.Roc will smoke the 250 class (Herlings is in the MX3 class), and whatever Ryan ends up in the MX3 class should win with ease.
Go team USA,but i have to agree with looper148,Roczen,herlings and Nagel may give team USA a run for the money, either way ya look at it,it's going to be a great show by a lot of talented riders.
That's a good team...I think you should be able to fight for the podium or close...! I try to be funny to avoid to cry, even with Baggett on a bad day it gonna be difficult to beat USA. The country who does it can add a national day to its calendar !!!
@2003racer8m
Its not a sand track
the captain of the team will be the 450 outdoor champion - rv2
Yet again the USA is the only country to got to the Nations with all thier best riders intact. Italy has lost DP Germans only have 2 good riders and now Belgium have lost Desalle. I am british and we don't have three top riders either but I will be there rootin for them
@Robbie Sucks about Desalle huh! Everts will have to make a return!
I am planning to attend the 2011 MXON. I have a lot of experience traveling in France (speak French) but no knowledge of that area. Anyone going? Want to share some transport? Hotel info?
