I know I'll take some heat for this but freestyle mx is really boring. What those guys can do on a bike is insane but it's just so boring to watch. It's the same thing over and over - ten variations of a back flip. I'm surprised that its popularity has lasted this long. I must be just old school because I think a sick whip out on a real motocross track is better than anything Nate Adams did last night.
It was boring last night..I couldn't watch the whole thing. I turned it off and went into my garage and worked on my bike. It was the course....it was too small, the riders couldn't race the course. It was jump, trick, brake, turn...repeat. The riders didn't seem to be into it. The FMX comp. is so much better when its outside on a bigger course.
Yea, I hate to say that it was boring, and I was switching the channel back and forth, just not fun to watch anymore. Even the side show, Nuculer Cowboys, I went the second year to watch and left during intermission.
that course was awful
I agree it was boring. Ramps are boring. Free ride comps in natural terrain are the only legitiment contests. just my opinion.
All I'm going to say is, You feed people crap long enough sooner or later people think crap good...FMX blows...

The best trick was alright. the step-up is ok. But the ramps and timed stuff gets old because they all pretty much do the same stuff over and over again. I'm waiting to watch the Enduro-cross.

Ashley Fiolek hit her little melon in practice and has a concussion, she wont race the finals in Moto-X at the X-Games. Too bad, GET WELL ASHLEY...
I completely agree that freestyle "mx" is boring. Its hard to believe that when Jeremy Mcgrath whipped his first nac nac, that this lame sport was born. Its hard to believe that more of these numb nuts that compete in it havent been killed.
Thank god no full time mx'er's entered the X games this year. This is just a tourist attraction. MX titles will be remembered, X games titles will be forgotten next week.
all the MX at X blew this year, they need to go back to the
Home Depot center, or anywhere with more room...
Motocross is not an "X" games sport. Professional motocross is the purest form of motorsports racing, 40 riders leave the line at the same time, and the first rider to the finish wins. "X" games racers are posers that cant cut it in real racing.{ Hence Josh Hansen being a two time winner at X games, but no titles in real AMA Racing.}
