I hope it drys out, I hate mudders!! Would hate to see any of them lose a title because of a mud race, So many things can go bad in the mud + its not as fun to watch.

GO Villopoto!
It's not about winning practice.
Lap times look okay. track must have held up okay
Reed is the boss.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOW the pain. LOL.
@BillC....Outdoor motocross is just that.....outdoors, rain and mud happen, of course we could try to turn motocross into dirt bike nascar.
Yea in the day it was'nt about a picture perfect day! What is wrong with everone,
its to hot or cold, wet, muddy or windy. Its Motocross!
Yup, thats why SX is indoors and MX is bloody outdoors! get it? ;-))
"MUD SLINGERS, BLUE GROOVERS, SAND SLAPPIN!!! GET IN THTHE GAME!!!
thanks for the info BillC, it looks like the speedometers aren't working yet? look out for Villopoto, he doesn't need good practice to kick butt in the race. Go Dungey!
@billc... motocross was started in Europe where rain and mud are a given. I hate the fact that we "Americanized" too much. Look at some of the old pics of MX in Europe back in the 60's and you will notice basically the strung up banners around trees and poles in a field somewhere. They had no watering systems to kill the dust, they had no tractors plowing up the terrain or ruts, and they certainly did not complain about the rain and mud. A lot of the pics you will see shows them racing on grassy terrain. It is MX and that is what is expected. I, for one, enjoy watching a race in the mud and rain. I have stood in it for hours watching and have ridden many races in it (and in the snow too) and never once did I not race because of the rain. The best sport in the world because it takes the best athletes in the world to participate. A rider does not lose a title because of the mud, he loses a title because somebody raced harder more consistant, and better.
Perfectly said, jw621557 The first time we were out at Rio Bravo here in Houston Tx. in the mid 70's the track was knee deep in mud and the race went on.Now even most of the local tracks shut down when it rains. What in the hell is going on with Motocross? And trying to do away with Two Stroke, what a big bunch oh Shit!
Jeez, this sounds like the old farts club. Hell, they used to burn witches at the stake. What´s your point? Get with the times. MX in 2011 isn´t the same sport as MX in 1968. I´m not saying we shouldn´t race in mud. I´m just saying we have to understand things have moved to a different level.
Thats what were saying, dip shit! And why do we have to change the sport for cry babies like you Mike?
I'd rather see pure racing too, but weather is a part of this championship and of your gas boils, or mud clogs the radiator and you over heat its the name of the game. That's what makes the perfect seasons by RC and JS such an accomplishment.
I'm also tired of the "back in my day" shit. That's great that guys who won with pos bikes did so in longmotos. Way to go! Back in your day it was also thought to be okay to smoke while pregnant.
Kids on 85s would smoke you today so get over it.
Its kids like gbs417 that dont have any ideal what the sport of Motocross is all about. Just another boy that thinks a china bike is a motocross bike! Oh and what is pure racing? You go back to playing with the kids on 85's i am past that stage!
Baggett is the hype! Who is the fastest 250f rider in the world? Him or Roczen? baggett gets the nod from the best journalists in the sport. (lol) Wilson and Rattray beat Baggett in the very next year by 15 seconds, well, actually baggett was so broken he couldn't push to the end and lost by 50 seconds!!!!! lol hahahahahahahaha
Blake is the biggest talker in the sport! All the Crow caught him and forced him into eating it.
