Sign of the Lap Times: Teutschenthal
Tuesday, July 12, 2011 | 12:40 PMRound 9 of the MXGPs from Teutschenthal, Germany saw the first Russian in over 30 years capture an MX1 overall. Evgeny Bobryshev had a breakthrough ride in Germany going 1-1 for a sweep of the MX1 class. Ken Roczen once again proved to be the cream of the crop in the MX2 class as he overcame an early crash in moto two to take the overall in his home country. Let's get over to the lap charts, brought to you by Motion Pro, to see how it all broke down.

It was all Russian Bob in moto one as he set a blistering pace with a 2:01.956 on lap nine. Bobryshev was almost a full two seconds faster than Max Nagl who would bring home the second fastest lap of the moto.
In moto two it was Red Bull KTM's Antonio Cairoli stealing the show setting a blazing fast 2:02.591 on lap four to claim the top spot. While Cairoli lost out on the moto and the overall to Bobryshev he did manage to pick up championship points on rival Clement Desalle.

Bobryshev celebrates his first career GP win.

Red Bull Teka KTM's Ken Roczen was a one-man wrecking crew in his home country of Germany. Well, for at least one moto anyways. After putting in a dominant performance in the first moto, while also setting the second fastest lap of the day, Roczen would take an early soil sample in moto two and have to charge back to third to capture the overall, yet was still able to capture the fastest lap of the moto with a 2:02.871 on lap five.

Roczen continues to separate from the MX2 class.

Hooole shot,Wow Roczen and Herlings were faster that the 450s
Was the Frenchmen that surrendered and retreated from Motoconcepts racing this event?
Yes he was there.Guess what? He didn't dissapoint. He surrendered and retreated.
@PizzaCorner-Yea he was there and to most peoples delight he was way off the pace and faded, apparently he even faded in the 20minute qualifying race on the saturday, what a waster
Pourcel best lap time: 2:05.867
Herlings: 2:00.470
Roczen: 2:00.906
19 laps: 95 seconds behind the 250 kids for CP!!!
@Pizzacorner: After he pulled off in moto 1 he told, that he´d forgot to put on his chest protector and that so many stones hit him therefore....
No comment about that.... :D
And in the second moto it was something with the bike or so....
What a bummer, i thought when he had his favourite team behind him, he could attack like last year, but he really is a sissy now....
I hate people who kick a man when he´s down.
CP is no surrender monkey. He came back from a crippling injury that would have stopped most people in their tracks. He has a problem right now, and he´s keeping whatever it is to himself. You don´t think he wants to be doing what he´s doing and getting disrespected, do you? I saw him on Sunday, and he was down man, so whatever his problem is, he just has to work through it. He will and I´m sure he´ll come out the other side a strionger person for it.
Just remember, he doesn´t owe any of you jack, so get off his case and let him be.He´s one of the greatest riders in the world, and he deserves respect for what he´s achieved, and understanding for whatever is bugging him right now..
@Mike: Then he should say whats up and don´t come up with that stupid excuse like a forgotton chest protector.... come on, that´s the most bullshit one can tell. Just look at the track, there were stones all over the place! My 5 year old nephew could tell, that you need protection on that kind of track!
I agree with MIke. CP should be left alone to sort out whatever he needs to sort out. Could even be his crippling injury is coming back to haunt him but he just doesn't want to let go of racing. He's a great racers and is obviously having problems at the moment and there's just no way he should be getting kicked so hard by everyone. I hope he comes back on top of his game again and does some serious racing.
@ Mike: "He came back from a crippling injury that would have stopped most people in their tracks". "He has a problem right now, and he´s keeping whatever it is to himself". "He deserves respect for what he´s achieved".
I'll agree with those statements you made, the rest is Hog$hit.
As for him oweing us nothing, that's a two way street my friend..........and frankly, he owes a debt of gratitude (at MINIMUM) to the people that made his U.S. career possible.
CP will fit right in with the rest of the enigmatic French riders in the long run, no better, no worse.
I read he wants to come back to U.S. to race SX in 2012...........for who???????
If he gets back on a 250F, you think people will respect that?
He's shown that he's picky about what he rides (wow, another picky frenchman) do you think Kawasaki is bunching their panties waiting for him to call? or Suzuki or Honda for that matter? I seriously doubt JGRMX would even pick up the phone for him. IF Hart & Hunnington don't change rides (again), they might give him a second look but, would he give a full effort for a second-tier team? He didn't for MotoConcepts...
The young guns in the MX2 class will eclipse his career if he doesn't do a 180 real soon.
...Relax and enjoy the Show! CP is a Genius, soon he`ll be fine!
@mike stupid fan, your idol is an a$$h0l£, that's all

CP377 obviously needs to play a "Townley".
If he has physical or mental problems her HAS to solve them outside the racetracks not publicly trying to solve them by racing.
Maybe he even has to admit to himself - his career is done. MX can be brutal if you're not fit you're done
I always think it is funny when they keep saying the KTM 350 or 250 2strokes can't compete with the 450s you the 250f's set the fastest times of the day, it just shows it isn't about power it is about corner speed and that is how you get those low lap times.

you probably have a french' d1ck in your mouth!
CP will NOT be riding this weekend (At the GP race) according to the french websites dedicated to the sport... No reason was stated...
It would be something if he did manage to find a team for the 2012 SX...
Saw he kid ride in the lites class... He's good.... Am not a fan of his.. But talent is clearly oozing in the kid! And the guy realizes that if you do a "Pichon"... It's not really what he wants to do and be remembered at... I guess he wants to prove a point, by being the best you will have to cross the ocean and beat the riders there. respect to that!
I guess, he's dreading to end up like a Demaria or Pichon... Who just brag on their accomplishment in the MX GP scene... And later, in le Touquet races.. Whahaha...
