Ryan Hughes Wins Overall in Vet 30-Plus at Mammoth
Tuesday, June 21, 2011 | 12:45 PMThe Vet Pro class was stacked with talent and the heated battles between Ryan (Ryno) Hughes and Jeremy McGrath were intense and exciting all weekend long, keeping the enthusiastic crowd on its toes. In the end, Ryno claimed 3 out of 4 moto wins, to capture the overall. Collecting a rear flat while leading the second moto on Saturday, Ryno had to give up the lead with four laps to go but still managed to limp home in second place.
Ryan had this to say about his Yamaha: “Being new to GYTR I am very impressed with how much power and reliability my bike had this weekend. What is even more impressive is that any Yamaha rider can buy this GYTR package. It is that good!”

hughes is the dirties rider on the planet! plus, he blazes too much! why would you want to put out a press realease about such a d-bag?
Everyone always talks bout RYNO and his crazy training, endurance, organics, ect ect ect..
I find it pretty interesting that McGrath who is busy doing so much other stuff such as racing trucks, is all over Ryno like flys on sh*t, Ryno squeaked by him in last turn of 1st moto.
We never here bout McGrath being "super trainer" and he still goes out there on a off weekend of truck racing and battles every single minute of the race with the "super trainer"
Training is training and will only get you so far but talent is something you either have or you dont! and McGrath has more talent and it shows !!!
And one last thing its so gay that all these former factory riders are racing loretta lynn's in the plus25, plus35 class -- they should have a seperate class for any riders that held a AMA pro card
I would like to point out that Ryno has never, not once, shown up at any track I was practicing or racing at. I'm just sayin'...
