man windham you were killen it out there. sure maybe your endurance needs some work but then again if you dont have a short coming it might get boring watching you run away with it weekend after weekend. the rest of the outdoor season only means half as much to me now
K-DUB; PLEASE DON'T EVER STOP RACING! Even at your age, ( I'm 44) you kick ASS!! Taking it to the boys and getting top 5? Fantastic!!!! Rider mentor. I'm just glad to hear of at least
ONE of the kids having an attitude like yours!!!!!
Kevin, you sir are the biggest hero to our sport there is. You have been my favorite rider since i ever started watching it (probably like 5 years old) and never want to see you stop racing, but do whats best for you and your family. You need to stop being so hard on yourself because you are doing absolutely great out there. Like Kyle said, nationals dont mean close to as much as me now that you're not there, such an inspiration!
MX has more than it's share of badass mofo's and Kevin Windham is one of them!
Windham is a true professional! Spend time with your family and PLEASE race the outdoors when they go back to school... I wish Millville was later in the season now!
KDUB you are just a stud no matter where you finish! Thanks for all the awesome years of racing and keep doing your thing! You are what I call Cooper status!
maby team 22 needs another rider, How cool would that be
I hear Dowdy is going to do 4 rounds this year.
My favorite guy to watching in MX or SX!!
DUDE YOU ARE THE MAN!!!! 2015 is gonna be a sad and boring year of motocross and supercross...
k dub is the man! hope you come back like 2 c u when at steel city this year. you rode ur ass off at budds creek i was waving you on every lap. spend some time with the kids and come hard at the end of the year.
After LaRocket retired, Dub is the only thing that kept me out of suicide prevention. Still got Metty & Downtown Brown to root for from the Geritol section.
Dub, Watching you ride is so fun to watch, Take the gnarliest track and make it look so smooth, Its not but man what killer style you have.
Have a great time off and well be looking for your return whenever your ready. Happy summer Kevin.
I was there at the 99 USGP at Budds Creek,It Is one one my dreams to give K dub, One of my Photos of him that Day with the Big "H" on his side Panel. You could clearly see his patriotism,as he went back to the Pits, people congatulating him,at that moment he was larger than Life,Just a UnBelieveable experience for me that day..Thank you Kevin..This Is motocross..
ryan you need your diaper changed..what is with these guys that think are are doing anything with the first post....stop already..if you dont have anything to say then just stay off the site...k-dub you rock!!!
Not just a Great Rider... A Great Person...... I remember seeing him shred a YZ 125....
KW14 - Great interview . . . crazy how when the kids get interviewed i'm not interested but when guys like you have a mic I CRANK IT UP! Thanks for representing Factory Honda, now that the red head and the mulisha will be healthy and probably won't be able to pass you because you have remained in the SX MX game, tell CR22 that you'll pay for another CRF to be added under the TwoTwo tent and continue to hang it out the rest of the summer. I know there are plenty of things you could be doing other than training and riding 24 7 but there is no reason that you should be doing something other than riding a CRF 450 for the remaining Nationals. You're a Bad Dude.

I'm pretty sure K-Dub is one of the only riders that could sit in a chair and keep me at my computer for 12 minutes. Kevin is such a great role model! Keep up the hard work man I love watching you ride motor steeds smooth as butter
K-Dub, A True Sportsman!!! Stay True To You Bud!!!
Once Windham leaves the sport, I'll have to admit that I'm old.
Please don't go Kdub!
K-dub has more class than most pro atheletes i know of today. Good choice Kevin, family first. They are only young once.
I'd love to see him keep going in the nationals this yr, but if he chooses not to,He has earned his respect anyways. And I believe "my kids"..is a damn good reason, instead of, "I ain't ready"......dunno who said that but...
K-Dub is just so smooth and has such sick style, he is and always will be the man!
Top 5 is pretty damn good results- had it not been for the bike issues in TX, he'd be right there in the points for the championship I'm 33 too, been watching since '94- you're an inspiration, Kevin!
Thank You K-Dub , Thank You RacerX Great vid!
Sorry I gotta LOL, @ Jake511 Gee wizz dude I retired in 94 started racing in 72 when I was 16 Yes there are a lotta younguns here. Some of us her have saw the advent of the long travel, at one time 4 inches of shock travel was good! To this day I dont think anyone could rail a berm like Marty Smith or Bob Hannah and yes those were the days of 40 mnts plus 2 laps.
A note to the Racer X staff would it be possible to have closed captioning or a text of the interview I am pretty sure that Ashle Fioeck and I are not the only deaf people that check out this site though I am not sure, Thanks, the deaf guy.
I'm just getting over RC retiring.....now K Dub.....I may need some counceling after after Kevin leaves. lol
( was yelling all saturday for you at Budds Kevin and was at Steel city last year )
your the man!!!!!!!!
Ryan,
Holeshot your mom last night & your girlfriend tonight...
p.s. Windham is one of the best ever...
WINDHAM IS THE MAN!!!
You're the bomb KW. You changed everything. Never mind Chad and his own team... he's a few years younger than you. You did good enough and more important... the fans like you. This sport needs to be more about the personalities and less about working hard to go faster than everyone else.
Kevin is a all around great guy! Meet him at stl supercross this year very down to earth good luck in the future k-dub!!
kdub your one of my fav riders love to see ya out there. i love your style
K-Dub you are the reason Motocross is the best sport in the world!!
Keep at it as long as you can, cant imagine the sport without you!
Inspirational guy for sure. I hope he sticks around for years to come.
@ good enough - I hate to break it to you but we're talking about racing here, more importantly than that we are talking about MX Nationals . . . unless you're in elementary school, no check that kindercare, racing MX is only about 'working hard to go faster than everyone else'. As luck may have it for KW14, he happens to be one of the most personable racers as well as a podium contender every time the gate drops. Don't think for one minute he doesn't know which one made him who he is today, the guy has worked hard to go faster than everyone else since way before 1994, which is why Factory Honda has a bike with the number 14 on it.
Awesome video guys! K-dub really is the man
No, I agree. KW is what this sport is about. One of the most gifted riders ever. No major championships, but like he said a while back... after a while outdoors gets boring.
windham - i coud've cried when stewie took you out at vegas - that was your win for sure!!!
have LOVED watching you at these first few nationals -
I really hope KDub makes it to Unadilla this year. We won a pair of Tech 10's because of him & we were hoping to get one signed...
