250 Moto 1 Report: High Point
Saturday, June 11, 2011 | 3:00 PMIt was all Double D early on as he began to put some distance between himself and the field. Behind the lead of Durham, the Pro Circuit boys began to battle. First it was points leader Dean Wilson and Tyla Rattray going at it before Baggett decided to join the party.
It was heartbreak city for Durham late in the race as the hard charging Blake Baggett would make a late race pass after Durham made a mistake. Durham would then compound his first mistake with two more late in the race giving Pro Circuit a podium sweep in moto 1.
Things continue to go the wrong way for Ryan Sipes. Sipes, as he ran in second for the majority of the first moto before a hard crash would take him out of the race.

Baggett and Wilson took position numbers 1 and 2 for moto 1.

Put D.Durham on the Geico bike. He's ready. Only horizon award winner to not get a spot with any top rate team.
^ I agree, If Durham was on a gieco, or bro circuit bike he woulda been gonee
Baggett is flying!!! on another level.
Damn! Durham showed he can run with and possible beat the best moto 1
I wish I was on the Bro Circuit team.
Great ride by Durham, was hoping he would make the podium, not that cherry-pickin' Rattray. And where are the Honda boys at?? Geico Honda a complete no show in the first moto.
Durham was tied with PJ Larsen for the horizon award, and Larsen didn't get a factory ride either.
Yep, Durham on ANY factory bike, and he probably would've gotten at least 3rd if not 1st. He deserves a ride!!!
I love DD but he needs to step up his training ..looked a little bit tired there at the end of the first moto..i understand but you gotta admit he kind of fell apart the last few laps..but he rode awesome for the majority of the moto..congrats ...and i feelmbad for sipes..but he will bve back..and i think if he didnt crash he would of won that 1st moto..imo
DD was on fire, he made a few mistakes mostly b/c rear brake pedal was all jammed with mud/dirt late in moto and screwed him up, but he looked awesome. Hopefully can get on Mitch's team and show up on a PC bike next season, They run a great program over there. I think he turned some heads this weekend .
Anyone here what happened to his lil bro Shane was 20th in moto 1 but didn't start moto 2?
