why are all these other sports trying to latch on to motocross?
Actually, you'd be surprised at how many skateboarders are REALLY into moto. These guys are just hyped to do it, as opposed to the skate industry in general trying to steal a bit of MX limelight.
What does it mean get roosted by your favorite skater? shouldn't it say come roost your favorite skater?
I'm pretty sure most of the skaters on this flyer would spank all the folks crying about this event.
Also, you don't have to worry about skaters stealing or latching anything from anyone. MX'ers, BMX'ers, wake and snowboarders as well as just about everyone else has all "bit" their style from skateboarders. It started with wearing skate shoes when you had no clue how to skate but to only be a follower. Then it followed up with the style of dress. Skaters were the first to have style and everyone else eventually "latched" on.
Now go put on your Etniies or DVS's and go learn to ollie spode!
Well put Tigo! Have seen lots of these guys skate, dudes are super gnarly. Lots in common attitude and feel wise from both sports, dig them both a lot! Mad props to guys (and gals) that can do both, I do but not great at either? still fun as hell though.
I had airwalks in Jr. High.... I did not skate or moto. Just wanted to fit in. It wasnt untill I got a job and invested in a bike 10 years later that i got into moto. But, i dont wear DVS or airwalks anymore. takes money away from the bike!!!

Aha! Thats funny! ^^ But i think that this is kinda cool. This whole 'latching on' idea is actually good. It brings new sponsors to the moto industry, keeping more riders involved in our sport. Also are people saying that just because these guys skate theyre not allowed to ride? Ryan Sheckler for example. He's ridden his entire life and his dad even runs a motocross shop.. Dont see why there are hate comments..
