MXHeaven’s Swedish Riders Progress Continues in Texas

Wednesday, June 1, 2011 | 9:00 AM
Because they did not know what to expect, nobody feared the Texas temperatures and humidity more than Swedish riders Calle Aspegren  and Fredrik Noren. Rumor had it that Nationals there in the past had been exhausting and miserable. But when it was all said and done, not only were Calle and Fredrik solidly in the points, they did it the hard way, by earning it , starting from dead last after horrible starts or first lap crashes. Not only that, they were still charging at the end and looked considerably fresher than many competitors finishing around them, a clear indication that they had done their preparations properly at MXHeaven’s base camp in Perris, CA.

They finished both motos in 17th and 19th respectively, which  gives them 8 and 4 points, ahead of the goal they set for themselves.

“I am really satisfied with both Calles and Freds ability to charge forward and continually pass riders for the whole 30 minutes and two laps. This shows to me that they came well prepared  when they arrived in California” said Team Manager and Riding Coach Stefan Elvin.

Both of them are really enjoying their time in the US and riding their Honda 450s. They are now back in California  where they will train and prepare for the race at HiPoint in two weeks, where better starts are a must to get to their new goal, finishing consistently among the top 15.

About MXHeaven:
In addition to the Motocross Racing Team, MXHeaven is the premier Motocross Holiday facility in California and is also offering  a  2 or 4 year college / motocross program, where students study at a local college in the mornings and ride and train under MXHeaven supervision in the afternoons.
