Its a shame no top US guys went to this. Why cant we have a duel event that pays National points to AMA riders and FIM points to the GP guys? The only way American fans will attend a GP is if the top US riders are there. The only way top US riders will attend is if its a National points paying event. Points could be paid based on your finish overall not just your finish in the series you are participating in. That way everyone has motivation to win not just beat the riders in their series. AMA riders adhere to AMA rules. GP riders adhere to FIM rules (fuel, sound, etc.). John Beasley from Budd's Creek almost pulled this off in the early 90's but it fell apart and resulted in another attendance failure for a USGP. Hey Youthstream and MXsports, you know politics are the only thing that keeps this type of event from happening. How bout putting that stuff aside and putting together a great event where the fans are treated to the best against the best.
Just like last year no radio spots,advertising of any kind relative to monster energy ..Red bull put on the 2010 event also no coverage what so ever? Davey coombs smiling ear to ear...davey coombs wanted this event to be a failure....
Agreed Unforgiven. No media coverage by anyone who could have helped make this event a success. Racerproductions = GNCC. Mxsports = AMA Nationals. Maybe Offroadmonopoly will = MXGP?
all you have to do is look on this website the week leading up to this race and there is practically no mention of it..hmmmmmmm..but now its over and they want everyone to look at photos etc,,,hmmmmm 2+2=4
