kx573 wrote: 10:05am March 24, 2011

I think it'll come down to section 2... who can triple on to the on-off every lap... that'll be hard with all the ruts, but way faster than double, double

I will be there!! Can't wait!!!

Turn 2 is VERY tight!!

This track looks really technical, should be a great race. The chicane after the start straight into the sand section will be nasty for the 450 main event.

Why does the leader pole have the lites on the final lap, with DW leading MS, BB, & JB? Is it b/c DW is Canadian sometimes, haha?!

Arrow is looking a little slow! Trying to show off instead of go fast!!! lol

About time they let the riders spread out before triples. I am sick of seeing riders crashing out and landing on each other. The AMA needs to protect it's riders and the fans, who have tickets to the later rounds. All the tracks need to be looked at more closely, I am not there to watch triples, I am there to watch racing.

Red Arrow did a big whip, Red Arrow's suspension looks bad, Red Arrow looks fast, Red Arrow looks slow, Red Arrow won, Red Arrow lost, Red Arrow almost hit the boat, Red Arrow looked scetchy in the whoops, Red Arrow got the holeshot, Red Arrow rides a Honda, Red Arrow rides a Kawasaki, Red Arrow rides a Yamaha, Red Arrow rides a Suzuki, Red Arrow rides a Husqvarna, Red Arrow rides a KTM, Red Arrow is slow in the corners, Red Arrow is awesome.....did I miss anything??

Another one lane wonder track where the Builder was baffled and put in another long, Long, LONG whoop section to destroy Privateers wholesale.

Over under on the betting line is 45.5 second lap times.

With all those whoops, I'll take over.

Profile Picture
Carlsbad wrote: 11:54am March 24, 2011

And several destroyed privateers. Maybe a factory rider or two, as well.

ronnie barnhardt, you missed... "Red Arrow is the fastest arrow on the planet!"

AMA needs to get someone else to do the tracks. Nothing New, same as the rest of the year... Looks like the designers have no imagination left.

Get the riders involved. Ultimatelly hey're the ones racing

Wonder what kind of dirt they are going to use. Usually it's so tacky and sticky you can make pottery out of it. It gets rutted and one lined, boring racing. I've seen old bricks, glass and metal mixed in the crap. Pretty scary when you see something square or rectangular coming at your head from the rear wheel of a 450. Geez, how did I get that flat tire?

Every week I see the track map, and every week the actual track has changes. I am sure this week will be the same. There will not be a disregard for saftey as many predict; and exclaimed about last week. Im sure the top guys wil figure out a way to make passes and in the end we'll get a great show!
Didnt Reed have a bad wreck in '08 on an on-off on-off section? That track was like frozen mud b/c it was so wet and cold leading up to the race weekend. I remember ruts that were very deep, especially leading into the finish line jump. Hope that's not the case this year.

Arrow, you seem to be so corporate, like your ride around the track was orchestrated by attorneys and insurance companies.

I, for one, would like to see you get more ragged, like a real rider. Case a big jump, bounce, swap and save it at least.

How about missing a shift on the face of a jump, then endo and arrow it straight into the face of the next big jump?

Would it be outside of an arrow's corporate image to case a jump and endo, landing on its back?

When are you going to step up and crash like a real rider? Get real, arrow. These idealistic rides with smooth flow can only carry us so far. Somewhere in the chain of command, there's a boss who says, "No. Don't let the arrow eat it. Just keep it boring. Corporate. You know how the insurance companies and the lawyers feel about this. Just keep the arrow flying straight."

Red arrow knows that the start is key. Looks to me like another short track. I'd hate to see close to 43 sec laps.

barney wrote: 2:56pm March 24, 2011

The leader will be gone by the time the pack makes through that dog-leg first turn. Whoever gets the holeshot will have a huge advantage.

Kyle wrote: 3:27pm March 24, 2011

how about the red arrow does a front wheel only blitz through the whoops towards the end...almost going into an endo???

It was mild up here until yesterday before we recieved 4-10" of snow in areas. Forcast for Saturday is High of 30F and low of 12F. Ruts galore in that stadium, and it is a big one so I would lean towards longer lap times. I'll be sitting in the 200 level just in front of the second turn. It is goning to be sweet! That's right SWEET, I'm brining it back. Give'r!

I am already getting tired of the supercross tracks because they all have the same obstacles - just arranged differently. I love the racing, just not the tracks. The one unique track they had this year was Daytona and you know Dirt Wurks did not design that one. Remember a year or two ago when they let riders design the tracks and Pastrana designed a killer track. I wish we could all voice our opinions to the AMA. I wonder if it would do any good? Probably no because we are not lobbyist.
