Tarah Gieger and TLD Extend Racing Relationship
Tuesday, March 22, 2011 | 3:30 PM
Troy Lee Designs / Lucas Oil / Honda is happy to announce that Tarah Gieger is racing under the tent for the 2011 WMA Series.
Tarah's out here in California preparing for the nationals already and she's looking stronger than ever!
"I've been riding my 450 for the past few months to help get my strength up and it feels really good getting back on the 250. I feel stronger than ever and I'm looking forward to the 2011 series. I'm also happy about the new 2011 TLD girls' gear I'm wearing. Troy had me help develop the new line and it's insane. We lowered the waist band and adjusted the fit so it's built specifically for girls. The stuff looks awesome and it fits better than anything else."
TLD/Lucas Oil/Honda team manager Tyler Keefe had this to say: "Tarah's awesome. We all learned a lot last year and we've made the necessary adjustments for 2011. She's in great shape and we're happy to have her back on the team and back on the 250. We're expecting big things out of Tarah, and we're glad that she's going to be under our tent this Summer!"
Be sure to watch for Tarah and the new 2012 Troy Lee Designs Girls Gear on May 21 at the Hangtown outdoor national!

I am really happy for Tarah, she is a good rider and a great rep for woman's motocross. So glad that sponsors are getting more involved with the woman's class, some of these girls really rip... now maybe some of these girls can make a living racing.Go Tarah!!!
Yes this is good for the whole sport also. I think the weomens class should be the first class of the day on the Satuday Nationa program it makes more sense and will keep the spectators there the whole day with the 450's racing the final moto of the day.
