Tucker Hibbert Geared Up for First Appearance at Elko SpeedwayThursday, March 10, 2011 | 2:35 PM
Minnesota’s own World Champion snowmobile snocross racer, Tucker Hibbert, will make his first appearance at Elko Speedway this weekend. The fan-friendly venue is located only a short drive south of Minneapolis and is currently transforming its car racing infield into a world-class snocross course.
The event will mark round seven of eight on the national snocross tour where Hibbert leads both Pro Points Championships (Super Stock and Open). With two Championships on the line and only two events remaining, racing is guaranteed to be intense.
Fans have the opportunity to meet Hibbert before racing action begins at two separate events Friday night. Monster Energy teamed up with Holiday Stationstore in Prior Lake for a meet and greet from 5-6 p.m. From there, he will join the rest of the pro riders at the Elko Speedway Pit Party.
Pro racing action kicks-off Saturday night and continues through Sunday afternoon. If you can’t make it to Elko, stream the event live on www.isocracing.com and mark your calendar to watch the one-hour broadcast on VERSUS Sunday, April 3 at 3 p.m. ET.

“It’s always exciting to race at a new venue, even better when it’s in my home state. Elko Speedway looks like a great place for a snocross race and should be a good track. This will be a big weekend. It’s down to the wire for the championships. I’m focused on getting good starts and riding fast to hold my points lead in both classes. The stakes are high and it’s getting intense on the track. I know fans will not be disappointed by the action at Elko this weekend!”
