LOS ANGELES, CA - FUEL TV, Alli Sports, and MX Sports Pro Racing announce an agreement for FUEL TV to air the first two races on the world-renowned, 12-stop Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship circuit live. In addition to the 24 hours of live event programming, FUEL TV also airs an hour-long season preview and 14 one-hour recap shows.

FUEL TV showcases the first 250 Class and 450 Class motocross races each Saturday of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship, beginning with the Hangtown Motocross Classic in Sacramento, California, on May 21. Additionally, FUEL TV airs a one-hour highlight show each Thursday, as well as a season preview, mid-season summary, and post-season wrap-up shows.

does this mean that the first races wont be on Alli anymore? If so, thats pretty lame. i had to upgrade my comcast package to get speed, and now will have to upgrade another level to get fuel for moto. that will be approx $20/ month just to watch the races. come on now.

Who the hell has FUEL TV. When you guys were saying it was going to be big, I would have at least thought it would be on like CBS or SPEED. I'd rather have a 5 hour delay on one of those, instead of live on FUEL.

FUEL is like the most pointless channel. No one gets it.

DC mentioned that they will still be on the internet for the people that don't get Fuel.

Yeah this is total bullsh*t...I DON'T KNOW ANYONE THAT HAS FUEL TV! I SURE AS HELL DON'T HAVE FULE TV! It is a part of a completely different tv package that costs anywhere from $25-40 EXTRA per month. I'm not paying that! So for the first two rounds my only option would be to watch online? LAME!!!

Anyone who has comcast (north east) doesn't have FUEL Tv. Such a bummer, comcast sucks. No way to purchase Fuel TV either.

FUEL TV has some cool progressive programming. As long as we can catch the 2nd motos LIVE on the internet it's all good. Not taped delayed on Speed or NBC... That would be just super lame! Anyone know for sure if ALLi (or someone) is going to broadcast the second motos LIVE? DC?

FUEL is Badass!!! standard on Direct tv... if you only have comcast or some other GARBAGE you dont know what you are missing out on... Cable TV is like riding a STOCK BIKE...(what's the point)

I think this is great, I have fuel tv. Get a direct TV package and you will have fuel. And at least they stepped up to show some moto on TV, and some crybabies will still complain. But does this mean they are only showing the first motos of each??

Yea with the price of gas going up, fuel tv will be making millions while we have to suck it up and pay the extra.

At $4 a gallon there is no way I can afford fuel tv. Thanks for ruining motocross.

Well then, I'm going to be buying the sports TV package that has Fuel TV in it.

Both Speed and Fuel are part of my Directv package. Didn't have to buy anything above the package I already had. I'm sure the first moto's will be on Fuel and Alli both. But I can't be sitting at home all day every Saturday watching the big screen. Hopefully they show replays in the evening or middle of the night.

Oooh..I see now Fuel is a "sister" station to Speed,in other words for those of us who pay for Speed already now need to pay more for FuelTV.Great way to get addition $ from us! Thanks!

In the first sentence it says the first 2 races will be live, then later it says they will all be live. What you mean is the first motos will be live? I'm always in favor of more live MX but does this mean we are going to see 1 moto and then wonder who got the overall? It's ok ( not really )for us hardcore MX fans who know where to find the results, but you won't win over any new fans by leaving them wondering what the hell just happened and who the winner is.

Moto4Life wrote: 6:46pm March 5, 2011

I must be a hater. I have Comcast, about 400 channels and no fuel TV! I don't want live MX, just better coverage. Most of us are racing on the weekend anyway. Give us Monday night Moto with all the action. I remember a couple years ago during a live race from Unadilla, they went away from a great battle to interview a rock band!

After selling out Vegas for SX and the increase in popularity of MX and SX, when will the television execs get a clue and acknowledge that motocross is a REAL sport and deserves all of the races aired live on a more available channel!!?
