Racer X Web Editor here with trivia for you eagle eyes:

What part of this animated track map is totally inaccurate, and won't be seen in this form Saturday night? Guess!

(PS I don't have a prize but I do have some old socks I can send if you want).

The double after the finish line that has a landing for the face of the jump!

Traffic cops? Directional arrows? guard rails?

I'd be so confused on that track, I'd need all of the above

Dropping the gate on Lap 15?

Profile Picture
chma89 wrote: 4:06pm February 22, 2011

O wait just re watched it and the arrow should of made a left after the finish, and the whole rhythm section with the sand section after it will be removed.

West coast Lites riders at ATL!!!!!1

You wont see the west coast riders as the leaderboard indicates, or a red arrow going around the track haha

Th first turn is actually tighter,, so there are more pile-ups ???

Excellent work, super spys. The winner is Jordan, the first to notice the leader board has west coast riders for an east coast race. Roczen and Hanny will not be battling this weekend!

A bunch of you were smart enough to catch it, good job. And skid steer, yeah, good point. The gate drops on lap 1? Maybe we'll have pit stops and a green/white checker finish like they did at the Daytona 500!

Well Jason it seems to me that the track dead ends into a berm cause red arrow hops the berm at the end.... could be some crashes there. Keep your socks! And finally a SX in my time zone !!!!

Where is the lovely orange tinted clay color??? We all know you can make the arrow do a whip, but how about showing off the best feature of Atlanta...

I bet that double before the finish line gets turned into a tabletop/hip thing, like they are so fond of making lately

49 seconds follow the leader? or 1 minute with plenty of passing and the triple so close to the start wont make for huge gaps early like it always does.put the triple at least a half of lap in,make the first few sections sand and whoops.

Track looks kinda busy but all in all looks pretty good. I think the designers have a thing for rythym sections though. Kinda tired at looking at the same rythym section week after week, but the track takes a different look this week though.

there wont really be a triple, with a scoring tower on the right side, and a boat and a truck on the left.

The track is kind of like broccoli... its good and all but again?? C'mon!

The darndest thing about the tracks is that they are nothing like the track map in teh 2011 Supercross Media Guide published by the AMA. http://www.amasupercross.com/mediaguide/sxseriesguide2011.pdf
What gives?

Profile Picture
GWN wrote: 8:49pm February 22, 2011

Looks like 2010 tack maps in the 2011 Guide.

And, If it were a west coast race they would have shown hansen taking out the red arrow...

jairtime wrote: 9:46pm February 22, 2011

I love how the arrow got sketchy skimming the tops of the whoops. Nice touch. Kudos on the seat bouncer stretches too.

Red Arrow learned some new Bubba like scrub technique. His lap times seem vastly improved this weekend.

Should do trivia questions for each SX city. What is the best thing to ever come out of Atlanta - B52s (the band) haha.

Im glad to see that they have slowwed the arrow down alittle. Last week I had to watch the animation 5-6 times before I understood the rythym sections.

Clint REM trumps the B-52's

Profile Picture
pinned927 wrote: 6:22pm February 24, 2011

I also had to watch that arrow about 6 times. from here it looks like there is actually some Options thru the rythem lanes. It looks like 2 rythems on the first. And 2 or 3 (maybe 4) different ways to go thru it. We'll have to see. Either way, should be a good one. Hope its not 1 lined

I like the looks of the long rythym section. I also enjoy the fact that sand is an obsical in most tracks. Come on Windham, rub alittle of that MS mud on shoulder and arm then let it hang out! Geaux K-DUB. Good luck to the Star Racing team also. Watch out for Bobbys boys!
