Oh, and Mr. Francis, if you set the aperture manually, you don't have to worry about it automatically stopping down mid-interview...newb.
The aperture is set manually, but the sun kept popping in and out of the clouds so I had to keep adjusting the exposure. I don't use anything on auto with the DSLR. One of the downsides of the DSLR is that you can't "ride" the iris very smoothly while shooting.
