JS andf RV show. The fairytail ends for RD
Even if his chain did not come off he would still be over 20 points out. JS won the title with 1 DNF so time to hang it out and win some races if ya can RD.
Well, BillC, considering we are what 4 or 5 races into a 17 race season, I wouldn't say Dungey's season is over by any stretch. Anything, and usually does, happen in SX. I'm not counting him out just yet...
I said JS won it with a DNF soooooo. BUT RD has not show he can win yet this year. So for him to make up the points he will need people to get hurt because he aint making up 30+ points any other way IMO.
I hope this chain derail isnt a " Dungey would have won but" excuse for the rest of the year....He would have been lucky to get top 5 as Canard didnt seem to have much trouble passing folks...The Dunge seems to have issues passing when he is stuck in the pack. Watching the race replay and knowing he had a chain issue, his chain did appear to be sloppin around more than normal and he seemd to be sliding out alot....maybe a loose rear wheel???
anybody know what happened to t. baker qualified 8th and that was it?
The "Ryan woulda won if his chain didn't derail" excuse will only be valid at the end of the season if Dungey can rally back and win some races and get himself at least within striking distance for the championship, and if he can do that, maybe there is some validity to it. It's a tall order, one that JS was able to fill in the past, so maybe he can too.
That may have been the most boring SX race I have ever watched, with the track layout having so many back to back jumps and airtime there was no room to pass unless someone screwed up big time. It appeared unless you were Mike Alessie or Canard, whatever position you entered turn one in, is where you finished.
Redbeard65 be carful saying RD can't pass good. I got in trouble last year for saying that.
Stewie killed it in the rhythm sections, like always. That thrack was littlered with them and he killed them. RV didnt look bad, they say if you want a championship, if you dont win, you beter get second. I would have to say, Dungeys title hopes went out with his chain. Barring something very bad happening to Stewie and RV, he isnt going to see a title this year. Hanson getting the win with a broken hand, unreal. He is tough, you got to give him that, and very hungry to do that. He isnt blowing this oppurtunity.. And a great ride by Tomac and Roczen, the 250 race was great, the 450 race kinda boring. Oh yea, way to go Packers.
I do not care who wins, I just want good racing. Holeshot and no fall equals a win this season. Boring to watch. The tracks seem impossible for passing this season in a way never seen before. Even when JS and RC were battling, the tracks seemed much better for passing. Something needs to be done to open things up a bit. Please!
DUNGEY RULES!!!!!!! (Except when Stewart and Villotpoto are in the same race and uh when his chain falls off.)
BD200 JS had that quad that was sick. Can't believe RV did not pick up on that. Like RC said his last year in SX.... JS is doing things I don't want to do.
Hate to say it but this is why I questioned RD all last year and now its is showing I was right to question him. Funny I really don't think anyone out there fears him at all. When RC, JS or reed came thru the pack after a bad start it was like people feared them but I don't see that with RD. maybe things have changed or maybe there is just no fearing RD.
Why does Dungey always thank me for everything?? I don't even LIKE that guy. Jeezus man stop doing that!
Hey "the man above" ( not the real man above, but the one who posted the message above) remind me to keep my distance from you. Those lightning strikes are a *****.
Bummer for Dungey. Just because he is the first to suffer a mishap doesn't mean he's out, not by my math anyway. Everybody will have some hardships to overcome, SX titles are a lot like life in that way. Still lots of racing left on the table, only 100 of 340 total laps completed, I'd assume this isn't going to be the biggest shake-up of the year. #41, #22, #1, #33, #29 & #800 still have races to win to make the "perfect storm" realized.......Yes, I did put the 350's up there.
Dungey is where he should be.....sorry guys. Hes a good rider but true 450 champion....uh no. We all know why he won the 2010 championship, Stewart,Villopto,Hill,Reed, ALL GOT HURT...................LETS JUST CALL THIS HIS TRUE ROOKIE SEASON.
Why is no one talking about KDub this year?
Because K-dub has not made top 5 yet. Like I said before the year started.
"Stewart will never win again" hahahahahahahahaha were did all those doooosh bags go
Dungey will win Houston because Stewart will forget to go to the bathroom and crap his pants on the starting line, then Villopoto will throw up from the smell and Reed will slip and fall down from laughing, and Canard will be busy thinking of his new girl friend... and there you have it.... a win for Dungey! After the race is over Dungey will go for ice cream and run around yelling "Mary Poppins!!"... "1 Adam 12!!... see the Man!!!" Oh for Pete sake... good gravy sakes alive! This is really going to happen!
