The GP's have one thing going for them that we will never have here in the states I'm afraid. When a rider can show up to a track in his home country and have nearly 30,000 people line the fences to cheer him on it's a special sight to see. I saw a little of it at Texas this year with Regal in the second moto and Dowd gets it pretty good at Southwick but it's nothing like over in Europe. I just wish fans would show their appreciation vocally at the track a lot more.
