Here's an update on Heath Voss from his wife, Sarah:

"Heath went down in his heat race last night while running fifth in the whoops and ended up injuring himself worse than he initially thought. He broke his right patella knee cup and had a very large cut about 6” wide down to the bone on his knee. He just got out of surgery where they put several screws in his knee cap and cleaned the deep wound. He will probably be in the hospital in Houston for the next 2 days before he can return home to San Antonio then 8 weeks of wearing a straight leg brace."
