GEICO Powersports Honda's Brett Metcalfe can't buy a break. After toughing it out through an ankle injury that he re-aggravated in a heat-race casing of a triple last weekend in Indy, Metcalfe crashed out of the final qualifying session today in Atlanta.

However, typical Metcalfe, despite banging up his stomach, side and hip bad enough to drop out of the practice session, Metcalfe is going to tough it out again. He will be on the line when the heat's line up tonight.
