AMA Announces Four Pro-Am Events for PAMX Promoters

June 13 - High Point Raceway
July 11 - Steel City Raceway
August 22 - Pleasure Valley Raceway
September 5 - Steel City Raceway
The AMA announced today that four PAMX GCS events have been selected to pay AMA Pro-Am points in 2010, and PAMX president Jeff Cernic is elated. “The PAMX Association is very proud to bring these Pro-Am events to Western Pennsylvania,” says Cernic, promoter of Pleasure Valley Raceway in Johnstown, PA. “I want to congratulate the promoters for their hard work and commitment to the riders. This once again proves that everyone in the PAMX Association is dedicated to working for the riders to bring larger paying events to our area to help grow the sport.”
In addition to paying Pro-Am points, three of these races will also be a part of the PAMX Triple Crown where the champion of the 450 and 250 Pro-Am Classes will be awarded a championship check in each class at the Annual PAMX Banquet held in Johnstown, PA in December of 2010. Last year, PAMX member Brian Shuckhart was awarded the Triple Crown Championship in both classes.
