Ben LaMay to Samsung Yamaha for 2010
Saturday, October 31, 2009 | 3:03 PM
The 2010 motocross season will be a season spent studying abroad for the young, Alaskan motocross rider Ben LaMay. Ben has reached a deal to compete with Samsung Yamaha in 2010 and will reside between Stourbridge and the team headquarters in West London. Ben will be competing in the Maxxis MX1 Championship and Red Bull Pro Nationals aboard a YZ450F and the Under 21’s aboard a YZ250F.
LaMay caught the watchful eye of Roy Emberson while competing in the final round of the 2009 Maxxis Championship at Landrake. Ben scored a 10-6 for 8th overall in his first ever British Championship. Ben will spend his next few months in London getting familiar with the team and doing some riding.
Ben is really excited about his opportunity for 2010 and would like to thank: Fly Racing, Scott, etnies, Ogio, RG3 Suspension, Hammerhead, Dunlop, DRD exhaust, 814 Designs and Mike at Rock River Yamaha.
