Riders

Of all the silly surprises, this is one of the biggest: Josh Hansen, winner of the last two X Games Moto X gold medals, will race a Monster Energy-backed Pro Circuit Kawasaki for the entire 2010 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series. Hansen, who was formerly a KTM factory rider, as well as a 125 Supercross winner for Yamaha of Troy, among other teams, will race the U.S. Open this weekend on the KXF450. Hanny has struggled with injuries over the past few seasons, but his winning ride in July at the X Games was apparently enough to pull together a unique deal, as Mitch Payton has rarely fielded 450 class riders. We will have more details on the deal as they become available.
