Going faster in the second moto was also the case in the AMA Motocross class, but that was a direct effect from the track conditions, as their first moto saw a good amount of precipitation, making for a very slick race surface. Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Tim Ferry scored the fastest lap in the first moto with a 2:14.344, and Team Honda’s Andrew Short was quickest in the second moto with a 2:13.013.
