High Sierra Adventure Rider Rally IV: 30 Days Away and Counting
Mammoth Lakes, CA – Join the KTM Adventure Tours Team for the 4th Annual KTM Adventure Rider Rally June 22-24, 2007 at their summer headquarters in Mammoth, CA. The High Sierra Rider Rally is KTM North America’s annual festival celebrating all things off-road and is open to all owners/riders of KTM motorcycles.
Participants in the Rally will be able to test ride KTM’s hot new street models: the 990 Super Duke, 990 Adventure and the 950 Supermoto on a 20 minute loop that has enough twists and elevation changes to appease even the most ardent street rider. The KTM technical department will also provide a technical seminar in conjunction with the rally.
Red Bull KTM Dakar Rally rider, Chris Blais, will be on hand to personally share is 2007 Dakar experience and show off his factory Baja race motorcycle. KTM Adventure Tour Legend and 11 time Italian National Enduro Champ, Fabio Fasola, as well as 7 time U.S. National Enduro Champ, Mike Lafferty, will be in attendance Friday June 22 to present special seminars on fundamental riding technique as well as secrets that helped both riders win their 18 combined championships. Dave McCoy, the founder of the Mammoth Mountain Ski Area will join with his son, Casey to welcome all participants to the mountain.
Entries are rolling in from every geographic region in the U.S. and Canada. Each participant will receive a gift package from KTM as well as three days of fun, camaraderie and high adventure in the Golden State’s most picturesque setting.
