AMA Pro Am Championship Series this Weekend at Bremen Race ParkTuesday, October 17, 2006 | 11:39 AM
AMA Pro AM Championship Series and the Southern Classic Championship Series, Southern All Stars, and Moto Madness ALL converge on Maxxis Bremen Race Park for one amazing race weekend with all of the action starting Friday October 20th with the Red Bull warm up.
This weekend is our favorite event to promote at Maxxis Bremen Race Park. We roll out the red carpet and pimp the track out and all of the activities that go along with it. This is more than a motocross race, this is a family event and if you have not attended this race you have to see why over 2,000 spectators make this the race in Georgia every year.
Scott Goggles and Acerbis have stepped up and put together over $3,500 worth of product to hook up YOU the rider. Every class will pull down some serious contingency. Speaking of contingency we'll throw down some serious coin to our riders on this weekend from the over $3,500 worth of contingency from Scott, money from the factories, and we'll pony up $10,000 to the pro classes on Sunday as well as some Vet money to make the old men happy.
Amateur and Pro racing galore:
Saturday we'll do a full prepped practice with plenty of track time for all of you guys and gals. The practice goes from 8am till 2pm and then the real fun begins!! At 3pm Roost MX will again host our 3rd Annual Project Mayhem Pitbike back yard jam on the 50cc track. Big fun, little bikes and teams will be the deal here so bring the pitbikes as we'll keep the track watered, monitored, and prepped for racing and riding ALL weekend!! At 5pm we'll break out the Madness with the Moto Madness on steroids as we pack the gates for Saturday night supercross. We'll blow through the motos and get you boys and girls to bed early so don't be afraid to line up on Saturday night. We'll cut you a deal on entry if you run the Saturday and Sunday program so step up.
SCCS & SAS Amateur Shootout:
Sunday we'll get down to business with some big time Amateur Motocross with the pro's thrown in for good measure. The Southern All Stars & Southern Classic Championship series which are two of the premiere series here in the south will be on hand at Bremen and the top Amateurs in the country will square off for tons of awards, contingency, and not to mention valuable series points. Top riders in every class will be on hand to show you the fast way around Bremen Race Park. We'll start early Sunday morning with Kevin Cozadd from Mxers for Jesus will do a Sunday devotional at 7:30am with a riders meeting immediately after that. Practice will begin after the riders meeting.
The Pros Show:
The pros will be in the house and we'll have some big names on hand to go for their share of the $10,000 purse. Every round of the AMA Pro AM Championship Series has had full gates and we'll fill'em up again. The pros will race at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm so don't miss a second of the action!
We'll have Red Bull in the house again and they are putting together our off track schedule which will include dirty movies (motocross movies on the big screen) and this years event will feature a fall festival feel as we'll have lots of off track activities to keep the kids busy and the parents happy! Don't forget about the Project 50 Mayhem Pitbike race brought to you by Roost MX!!
Pies in your eyes:
During our area qualifier we put together a hot dog eating contest and we'll follow that up with a pie-eating contest at this event so loosen your belt and get ready for some ridiculous fun and don’t wear your church clothes to this event as we'll see pies flying. Good clean fun that’s for sure.
Core MX presents you find it, you own it!
Core MX Bremen’s on site full service motocross shop will host a scavenger hunt with killer prizes for the kids who can round up the most items on the list. Full sets of gear and more will be awarded to the kiddies. Strange items will be on the list so get ready.
