Suzuka Tire Warmers Back Aprilia AMA Effort

Wednesday, May 10, 2006 | 8:23 AM

Suzuka Tire Warmers is announcing an official product sponsorship of the Aprilia / Pacifico AMA Supermoto Race Team, featuring Darryl Atkins. Suzuka is introducing their latest design, the Dual-Temp model tire warmers on the team.

The new Dual-Temp model is the latest technology from Suzuka, says Marc Vandament of Pro MOTO, distributors for Suzuka. We are certainly seeing more Supermoto racers and track day riders using tire warmers to not only increase turn-one confidence but extend the life of their tires. The new Dual-Temp series will allow for consistent traction and tire temperature over the course of a day at the track.

We definitely had a very exciting first race on the new Aprilia SXV, says Darryl Atkins of the Aprilia / Pacifico Race Team. Placing fourth was a great finish to a busy and hectic weekend. It was nice knowing that the tires were always race ready due to the Suzuka Tire Warmers.

Suzuka Dual Temp tire warmers include a switched control box for easy temperature selection from the thermostatically controlled warmer, thin and lightweight construction from class leading materials makes it easy to install, with a power light to show activation, and a single side pull cord which helps aid in the installation as well as allowing for more compact storage when not in use.
