Thirty-five-year-old supercross veteran Mike LaRocco confirmed his retirement from racing at Thursday's press day in Indianapolis.

Mike will wrap up 19 years of professional racing at the Amp'd Mobile Supercross finals at Las Vegas in May.

Mike has shared the podium with many of racing's greatest names, going back to Ricky Johnson, JMB, Jeff Ward, Jeremy McGrath, and Ricky Carmichael.

Mike says he hasn't spent too much time with his future plans, but he will be around. And he isn't the only LaRocco who will be around: Both of his parents work for Amp'd Mobile Supercross on the weekends.

Check for photos of today's press conference, which also featured his son, Ryder, who is riding the KJSC this weekend, over at supercross.cc.com.
