Racer X just got a note from 2000 AMA 125 West Region SX Champion Shae Bentley concerning a newcomer to AMA Supercross. Ryan Newton is 20 years old and is from South Africa.  He just signed with Maestro Suzuki for the East Coast SX Lites series.  Ryan will be aboard an RM-Z250.  Newton has been training with Randy Lawrence in California and getting prepared for his first try at Amp'd Mobile Supercross, which will be the St. Louis round on February 18.
