With rain coming down sporadically around the San Francisco Bay area, the AMA has decided to tweak the afternoon schedule in order to salvage the race track in the event that it continues to rain. Simon Cudby just called in to let us know that there will only be one practice for each group today, and it won't start until 4:45 pm PST. They will keep the track covered as long as possible before practice.

As far as the race schedule goes, it will basically be the same for the top 20. For everyone else, they will use their practice times to slot them on the starting gate for the heat races. No riders have been eliminated from the program, as happened last year at A1. As of now, all races in the night program are slated for the normal number of laps.

Hopefully, they won't have to make any more changes, but the weather remains the biggest question mark of all.
