Simon Cudby checked in last night to tell us that Joaquim Rodriques was injured yesterday at the Honda test track, and the report was confirmed by the Cycle News website. The SoBe/Samsung Mobile Honda rider from Portugal suffered a broken right tib/fib and will probably miss the next three months.

Rodrigues' injury adds his name to the list of riders already injured before the East Region SX Lites Series begins next month. He joins Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Troy Adams and Ben Townley and Red Bull KTM's Jeff Alessi on the sidelines.

Also, WBR Suzuki's Ryan Sipes is healing from a broken foot, which he suffered last Tuesday while preparing for the third round of the West Region Series.  A big get-well-soon goes out to all of these riders.
