I rode and raced motocross on an amateur level in SoCal for about 6 years (1998-2004) and not only had the pleasure of being on the track countless times with the "big boys" during an open practice day, but racing with John Dowd in '98 while Team Yamaha was out testing at the now defunct Competition Park. Of course, since I wasnt as fast as Dowdy, he would slow to wait for me when he started pulling away, and then we would start again!!! This went on for about 20 minutes. One of the highlights for sure!!! Now I am an amateur bull rider, competiting in rodeos throughout Idaho, I also shoot 6 guns in competition, ride horses, and just totally enjoy the western lifestyle.
