David Pingree
David Pingree is a former professional racer. During his career he rode for several top teams including Pro Circuit/Kawasaki, Red Bull/KTM and FMF/Honda. He collected four 125 supercross main event wins, a Prince of Bercy title, six Supermoto wins and an X Games medal during his fourteen-year racing career. He has been a contributing editor at Racer X since 1998 when he started an online column, Electronic Ping. He now writes for the web and the magazine and handles Racer X's testing department. Ping also dabbled in broadcasting and managed the Troy Lee Designs/ Lucas Oil/ Honda team for two years before stepping down in 2010 to go to paramedic school. He is working on a career in the fire service as a firefighter/paramedic, though he plans on remaining part of the Racer X staff. David Pingree on Google+
