David Pingree - Blogs as 'David Pingree'
David Pingree began racing motocross and supercross professionally in 1993. During the ten-year span of his career he rode for many top teams, including Pro Circuit Kawasaki, Suzuki, Honda, and KTM. He has four 125 supercross wins to his credit, several national motocross podiums, and a couple of really nice #2 plates on his wall. He began writing a column for Racer X in 1998 dubbed Electronic Ping and eventually joined the staff full-time in 2004 when he stepped out of professional racing. “Ping” still competes in random motocross events and races Supermoto for the TLD Red Bull Honda team. His work at Racer X Illustrated includes his long-running column plus feature stories and other odds and ends. His contributions to Racerxill.com include a Friday advice column titled Ask Ping, Between the Motos interviews, Privateer Profile features, and all of the Racer X Tested articles featuring new bikes and shootouts.
