June 29: Marty Tripes will always be remembered for winning the first Superbowl of Motocross at the Los Angeles Coliseum in July of 1972, just a few weeks after turning 16.
June 30: Ben Stevenson never goes a day without reading Racer X Online and turns 47 today.
June 30: Dr. D’s Doug Dubach was once a holeshot artist and was the winner of the 1994 San Jose 250cc supercross. The longtime Yamaha rider made his Loretta Lynn's debut three years ago at The Ranch, winning a title in the process. This summer, Dubach will be shooting for his fifth and sixth title in the Plus 40 and 45 classes.
