Here's what people are saying about Malcolm Smith's anti-CPSIA Protest taking place tomorrow at his motorcycle dealership in Riverside.
Is anyone listening to the good and moral people in this country? Malcolm Smith continues to deliver leadership by courageous example. On behalf of an entire industry, thank you Mr. Malcolm Smith. You are a true champion of not just racing but a champion of the future of the Motorcycle Industry. OK, law makers and politicitions. It's time to pay attention. Good Americans are now speaking up by their actions.

I am still shaking my head over this narrow sighted policy. Its time someone stood up and made a point. WTG (way to go) Malcolm I hope the rest of the American dealers join you. We miss you in Canada, looking forward to our next MSR ride.

I say GOOD for Malcolm. We need some high profile people to step up on this issue. Let's hope he is successful in getting the idiot law makers to fix this.

Malcolm Smith is a pioneer, leader and a roll model and he has done a lot for the m/c industry, motorcycles in general and under privaledged children. Way to go Malcolm, I’m proud to know such a top notch gentleman and roll model in our community.
-Mike Tomas Kiwi Indian m/c Co., Mar 17th, 2009 at 9:12 am
Good work Malcolm!! This the kind of action we need to get this thing overturned.

In defiance of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 - or CPSIA - which prohibits the sale of youth motorcycles and ATVs deemed unhealthy for children under 12 due to supposed high-levels of lead content, motorcycle dealer Malcolm Smith will sell these banned vehicles as a sign of protest.
As a sign of support, a group of small business people and high-profile motorcycle industry celebrities, including racers Jeff Ward and Jeremy McGrath, Glen Helen Raceway owner Bud Feldkamp, and motorsport design guru Troy Lee have all agreed to be on hand to purchase banned units for use by their own children and grandchildren.
