The RiderDown Foundation will once again have a booth at the AMA Maxxis National Endurocross Series Final in Las Vegas. The event is happening this Friday & Saturday, November 21 & 22 at the Orleans Arena.
This year we will be having a lot of fun with our efforts to raise support for the injured riders we are working with. Get your haircut by the crew from RDF and ProMotoBillet/Fastway and help WORCS sensation Josh Morros with his recovery efforts during the "Mohawks for Morros" campaign! Check out the raffle and auction items available from various Pro Racers and companies such as Rekluse, ProMotoBillet/Fastway, Trail Tricks Suspension and Engine Services and more! Stop by, say hello and see how you can help!
We'll also have one of our most popular guests in the pits with us again, Sara Schmidt, DC. Sara will be offering much needed relief and therapy for the riders. Having 15 years of experience working with professional and amateur athletes, Dr. Schmidt began with her Sports Massage Therapist degree followed by her Doctor of Chiropractic and Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner degrees. As an avid cross country racer, she has combined her love of racing and chiropractic by offering trackside services for local and national events for over 8 years. When asked about her efforts and on teaming up with RiderDown while providing these services at EnduroCross, Sara says; "I thought it would be a great way to help the racers attempting the challenging EnduroCross series while also raising awareness for the RiderDown Foundation and its goal of helping injured riders."
“We are excited to once again be a part of the Vegas EnduroCross” says RiderDown President, Bruce Vermeulen. “We could not do all of this without the help and support of the community. Our thanks go out to Eric Peronnard and Lance Bryson of Source Interlink Media for bringing us this great event. The exposure and dollars we have raised to help so many injured riders and their families cannot be underestimated.”
“The work that RiderDown Foundation is doing is extraordinary” said Lance Bryson, Director of Sales and Marketing for the Maxxis EnduroCross. “We want to do anything we can to help support this important cause.”
Come see the world’s top riders take on an indoor off-road track, simulating Mother Nature’s toughest elements: logs, tires, water crossings, rocks, and dirt. This event also presents the largest purse in the country and is as they say "the stuff legends are made of"!
