Your Collection: Memorabilia
Wednesday, November 21, 2012 | 12:00 PMThis weeks collection comes to us from Mark Hynes.
Attached are three pictures of a quilt I had made from old T Shirts. Some of the shirts are quite rare and include shirts from three ISDE's (Holland 84' Spain 85' and France 88'), a world trials round in 85', the 79' Lakewood National MX (remember Hannah and Boo Stickler?), 2 Day Qualifiers from Texas, Michigan and Trask Mountain (all 85'), Trials d Nations in 86', and the 76' USGP with "The Man". I have been saving them for 30 years and finally found a good way to display them. If you would like to have yours made into a quilt you can contact Kathy at [email protected].
Thanks,
Mark

His name is Boo Stichter! Not Stickler!
What is this Hannah and Poo Stinker deal.Did they have a big grudge race or something at Lakewood. Why do I not remember this.
Thanks for the spelling of Boo's name. It was a guess. Anyway it was a great race and I hope you enjoyed the quilt. Boo was the first person I can remember going really fast on a KTM. As I recall he led Hannah for about 30 minutes before Bob put the hammer down and reeled him in.
