Hmmmm....more than halfway thru the Nationals, and he still talks of arm pump. This could be the reason he cannot finish in the same manner as he starts.
I am a BIG FAN of KR, and want only the best for him, but, this arm pump issue is something that he may need to remedy thru whatever means necessary.
Looking forward to KR puttin' the hurt on Cairoli and MX1 racers at the Tuethanal GP in Germany. Show them all what US National calibre (4th place) racers can do to the world GP MXers..... (hehehe)
That track looks sick! I'm a little shocked to hear that he's not in shape yet. Is he planing on peaking at the Des Nations? I'm pretty sure Bagget is in shape right now.
Been going to Southwick for over 10 years now. That sand, while darker in color, was eerily similar to the Wick in the way that it formed lines and bumps. Looks like an excellent place to get ready, hope he comes out swinging and finishes both motos strong.
Can't wait to see this kid ride next weekend.
It will take more then one year to get accustomed to the full bore pace of American racing for 30 + 2. At least the temps will be in the frigid 80's Baggett would love it to be 95+.

It is odd that he's suffering from arm pump after being past the halfway mark of the nats. Maybe he's taking creatine...remember Millsaps? The manufacturer of a supplement he was taking suddenly added creatine and he got arm pump. His trainer figured it out after reading the ingredients. They changed that and his arm pump went away.
He was in Germany for the MX Masters (German Nationals) in Gaildorf that's right. But the track shown in the video is in Olmen, Belgium. Beautiful sand track. The track gets pretty tough with lots of bumps, ruts and deep holes :) It's so much fun.
Lommel the MXoN track for 2012 is just some miles away.
BTW: Lommel, Olmen, Lierop, Berghem-Oss and so on are real deep sand tracks. Southwick is not that brutal. Like Jimmy Albertson says: "A little loose sand on top".

BENDER 717: in certaing parts of the Lommel track you can't go wide open because the bumps are so deep, just watch some videos of past Gp races, especially the MX1 second motos, to have an idea. Lommel and Lierop are my two favorite tracks, the sand is insane there.

Kenny is one of the best riders in the world and you are going to ball bust him for just finishing off of the podium. Kid was a World Champion at like 15 and he never acts like a c**k or waves the “I’m awesome” flag. I remember at the beginning of the year he was smiling after getting passed on the last lap and said he was happy with how he finished and people busted his balls for not wanting it enough. Now if he acts pissed off after a loss he is a cry baby Euro!?!…. Kid could have made bank crushing back home but he wanted to come here and prove himself. K-Roc has some sick style and a personality that I would rather listen to ANY DAY over these cardboard dry, un-educated morons that finish above him. MEGADETH!!!!!! Gotta love the music. This kid will be alright.. He wasnt in shape, not for American motocross anyway.. It his first season and is running 4th, he will be alright.. I think some of the Euro fans thought he would come over and win, and they would razz the American fans, but it wasnt going to happen. If he gets tougher, and gets in shape, he will be challenging for podiums for years. Did I mention he needs to get tough??
